How Long to Wait to TTC after Doxycycline

My doctor prescribed me 3 days of doxycycline to accompany my recent HSG test. Today is my last dose (May 29). Would it be unwise for me to TTC this cycle? I expect to ovulate June 2nd or June 3rd, so we would be BD-ing for a few days before then. Any advice would be welcome

I think this would best be a question for your Dr or the Pharmacist that fills it.

As far as I know, it is a very strong antibiotic, so I would suggest eating yogurt while taking it (read labels bc iirc dairy couldn't be taken within a certain time frame of the Doxy), or taking an acidophillus supplement to attempt to avoid a yeast infection. My husband was just on this for a tick bite and he was told to stay out of the sun while taking it because it could result in some serious sunburn.

Thanks for the info. I actually did end up hearing back from my doctor, who said I was fine to continue TTC this cycle. I've also been taking a probiotic along with the antibiotic. I'm done now and hoping it all clears my system ASAP.
