Heparin injections

I'm doing twice a day injections and at one week out, the bruising is getting pretty bad. I've heard this is par for the course but wondered if anyone has ideas to decrease the amount/severity of bruising.

Anyone else doing this? Any suggestions to decrease pain and bruising would be wonderful!

    I'm not doing them but I administer them plenty. I was always told that the slower the less bruises you might get. Don't rub it afterwards. That's about all I got on that. Sorry.

    Doctor Google says Arnica cream and witch hazel should help!
