normal or a cold?

my one month old has been sneezing and coughing quite a bit. I took him to the doctors and his check up was normal. No temp. I'm just wondering if it sounds like it could be a bit of a cold. Or is it normal for new babies to sneeze and cough often?

Mine does it all the time but isn't congested. The doc said its normal as long as the cough isn't really bad.

My DS sneezes all.the.time. He is so congested. I believe the cause is his reflux. This morning he sneezed maybe 7 times in a row, and you wouldn't believe what came out his nose! I almost wanted to take a picture for proof-weird, I know. As far as coughing, he does more of a choking, sputtering. This is also related to the reflux. I'd just keep an eye on your LO's temp. Otherwise, I'd agree with the doctor-totally normal.

From what I've read, and I'm not sure how accurate this is, babies on average get one cold a month.
