Well on a good note....the exercises are pretty easy at this point. But still....I'm with you guys on barley putting on my socks! Hahaha trust me, if it were up to me my exercise would be sleeping. That burns calories right ??? ;) lol

    HEARTBURN!!! :((
I feel like my esophagus is filled with holes from all of the heartburn I've been having! I wake up at night because it's so bad that I gag in my sleep
  • Right now I'm feeling pretty good. I'm following @klkonwi's example from yesterday and just hanging out in the sun for a while. Man, its good for the soul.

I've been having the worst cramps all night and morning. I should've known the amazing nights of sleep I've been getting recently wouldn't last... :-< I probably got a total of 2 hours of sleep last night, with over an hour of that being after 8am. I'm totally exhausted and these cramps are killing me! Also between the peeing, diarrhea, and nausea that decided to come back full force, I can't seem to stay out of the bathroom. And I have to work in 30 minutes....luckily I'm working from home, but nonetheless I would so much rather just lay in my bed and watch some good movies all afternoon and night.
  • I have a calf cramp that will not quit. It started about 4 hours ago as the worst leg cramp I've ever had. Now it feels like a pulled muscle.

Where did these swollen feet come from? I never had swelling with DS. Last night was the first night with DS and DH away and the stupid neighbors left their stupid dogs out and they barked nonstop for 2 hours. I was so excited to go to bed early, too. Grr.

I'm hesitant to say this after being mistaken about it last week, but I really, really think that baby's finally dropped. If she hasn't she's most definitely on her way down. I've had a major increase in back and pelvic pressure over the last few days, my bump is definitely lower than it had been (there's actually space between the top of it and the bottom of my boobs now!) and I feel like baby's going to fall out the bottom of my belly. I don't think that she's quite where she needs to be yet because the pressure of her weight is on the bottom of my bump as opposed to like further inside near my cervix, but she's definitely shifted downwards over the past few days. I'm excited to go to my appointment tomorrow and find out what exactly is going on! For those of you who haven't dropped yet and are worried about it - I'm 39w2d, I only just noticed a difference, and I'm still not sure that she's dropped completely. Which leads me to my next point - I had read about a few ladies' experiences on here where they heard a pop and then baby dropped. From what I'd read, it made it sound like dropping was something that happened immediately and was super obvious and there's no way you could miss it. Well, if I'm right and my baby has dropped, it's been a gradual process over several days, so gradual that the difference has been imperceptible on a day-to-day basis and I only really feel confident saying that it's probably happened because I compared this week's bump to last week's. My point? Don't feel bad if you feel like it's taking baby too long - which I definitely did! Things will happen, just need to be patient, which is way easier said than done!!!

ETA Not saying that those of you who experienced the popping thing were wrong or lying or something like that, just that it doesn't work like that for everyone! :)

Holy sciatic nerve pain batman! Sooo i probs overdid things yesterday (you know, hoping I would go into labor), but all it did was move baby into the worst spot! Sadness. On a good note, I did get the barn cleaned, mini horse's hooves trimmed (I'm 5'10" and hate doing this normally, I don't recommend at 38wks pregnant), porch painted, all the laundry done, flowers and the rest of the garden planted, new porch chairs put together, and all my pump parts and bottles boiled. Yeahhhhh, probs over did it a little. But I feel like I accomplished things. Buttttt now I walk like I'm crippled. :(

Are you supposed to cramp during a bloody show? Just got it this morning... It's still going (sorry for the TMI) but it's followed with light menstrual cramps. I have an apt with my doctor tomorrow at 815 and I heard a bloody show isn't really worth a phone call and since I'm going in tomorrow I figured I'd just wait but I'm curious if the cramps are a norm. Thanks !

  • Anyone have shooting pains in their vagina? What. The. F.

Omg yes!!!!! Sharp shooting pains. At work of course. My male coworker probably thinks I'm a spaz because I let out a tiny yelp when it happens
  • Yes @rrcameron21 ! Every time I try to roll over in bed it feels like lightning!

Just pure being tired as hell again today. I didn't fall asleep until 315 and my poor husband has to wake me up at 530 every morning to give me a heparin shot before he leaves for work so I never really get to sleep in because even though I COULD go back to sleep in theory, I can never do it. So after my appointment today hopefully I can pass out and squeeze a nap in so I don't murder anybody.

Does anybody else wake up with HUGE hands and knuckles that feel like you've been kneading dough all day? haha.

@klkonwi - please figure that wine and massage thing out ASAP :)

Omg yes to the swollen hands and joints in the morning!! It hurts so bad like i was clenching them all night or something...then as i wake up and day goes on it eases up but still a little sore. Crazy stuff!!

Also its the weirdest thing...around the same time everyday (like 530) my lower back aches so bad that i cant stand...what is up with the clockwork?! I am overall just a miserable bizatch today...everything hurts and feel like a dead person walking! No matter what I ear, drink or how much I sleep I am so exhausted and just cant move :(

Cant wait to find out if baby is engaged and if i am dialated at all on Monday!! 4 weeks to go seems way too long! Hoping all of us can sleep tonight peacefully **fingers crossed**

  • Holy leg cramps and swelling Batman! Today has sucked with them. Tried to take a warm bath to ease the pain and got stuck in the tub for a half hour trying to get a good grip to pull myself out. The worst part was the back pain all that work getting out brought on.
  • Ugh. What a day. Only slept an hour. Woke up sick with a super stiff neck and chest cold.

Had my dr appointment this morning. Ended up staying for an extended period of time because they think my water is leaking. 2 tests were showing iffy results. So they did a final test. It showed negative, but my doc wasn't convinced and almost admitted me. Then she decided to send me home for the rest of the day to relax and come back tonight.

She said that because I had been walking around so much today that if it was a slow leak there could be very little fluid, and that's why the first tests were iffy and the last was negative. And that's why I probably see more discharge at night after laying down and allowing the fluid to pool up. So she wants me to allow it to pool up then come back in and get it tested. Hoping that enough pools up before it's too late. I'd feel bad for DH if we had to go to the hospital late tonight then he has to get up early and work if it's not my water and we get sent home.

    I get these too!
Since I've upped my calcium intake they've seemed to go down a lot.

I've had an awful cough off and on for the last few days. My doctor says its allergies. Just when I think it's gone, it comes back with a vengeance. C-section scheduled for next Wednesday. Don't want them to cancel me, but the thought of coughing like this after a section terrifies me.
  • @klkonwi some of baby's movements today have been pretty damned uncomfortable. Gasp worthy. Pelvic pressure at some times, and then I'll feel bumps and thumps in my side or at the top of the bump. I've been suspecting that tho the ewok was head down at last appointment, and I have dropped, that baby has the back to my right side and limbs to my left. Maybe they are trying to turn back to front or sunny side, who knows? The pelvic pressure right now is pretty cringe worthy.

  • I think I have shingles! I was feeling a little sick over the weekend. This morning I woke up with soreness under my arm but I didn't think too much of it. It's sort of bothered me all day. Just got into the shower and noticed a raised rash about two inches wide under my armpit. I've had it before In high school. I called the on call and he wasn't too concerned was just going to call in a script. I'm going to see my GP tomorrow to be on the safe side.
  • On and off cramping. Isomnia. Shooting pain in my vagina. Restless legs. My entire body is like popsicle...when I get up...I walk like I am frozen then when I warms up I loosen up.

I have been having false labor the last two days. I am a FTM and high risk so I have been flipping out. Everytime my contractions start I have the urge for number two. Contractions are very strong in the beginning. The baby tends to get hiccups during contractions or kicks. I have a biophysical appt. tomorrow so going to ask doctor if this is normal. Plus, my son has been getting hiccups like 4-5 times a day. IDK if that is normal again I am a FTM and lost . Lol (btw 35 weeks 1 day along)
  • aj1327aj1327 member
@klkonwi yes! Some movements are definitely uncomfortable and take my breath away!

  • aj1327aj1327 member
@janinebean84 my LO was getting the hiccups a lot last week and I asked my doctor. She said it was normal. They're practicing breathing and drinking the fluid.
  • It literally hurts so bad to roll over in bed. There's so much pressure & my thighs & vagina hurt so bad!! Is it normal to hurt this bad?
