First flutter??

hey guys I'm 13 weeks and I think I just felt my first flutter! It was like a faint twitch in my pelvis! I've had stomach issues with gas my whole life so I know for a fact it wasn't that cause I know what it feels like! (Tmi) I know lol! But yay so excited!

Re: First flutter??

  • Are you a FTM? Seems a bit early for baby but how exciting for you! Can't wait to feel mine!
  • Loading the player...
  • I can't wait to feel my first flutter! Lately I've been using my Doppler just to listen to baby kicking and fluttering in there :) it'll suffice for now :)
  • I have been feeling a pulse in my lower abdomen for the last couple weeks when I lay down to go to sleep. I know it's obviously not baby but still cool to feel something there that's out of the ordinary.

I'm going to post on here what I posted yesterday on another board (not that it bothers me that you posted this OP!! Don't get that idea from me saying that!!) but we are all just excited. There is a baby in there! And we are also reading and seeing everywhere that "the baby is moving like crazy" so it's hard to think that it's not the baby!! I know how you feel because I cannot wait to REALLY feel the baby move :) It will come before we all know it!

And by the way apparently your search function doesn't work that well cause I actually did use it. Sometimes I feel like yalls comments to the other moms are more negative then all the miscarriage threads.

Im gonna be bluntly honest because personally I think these threads are as full of drama as facebook so I'm actually deactivating my page tomorrow but I would like to give my supporters a chance to see me say thank you for the generous comments..to the rest of you I don't really give a fuck what you think..excuse my language but I didn't ask you to respond if your tired of seeing the same post then don't open it. We are all here for support and I'll have you know that my best friend did feel her baby at 13 and a half weeks and I was at the doctors and my doc said it is very likely that it is my baby because he/she is measuring big so I would like to remind you that not every ones pregnancy is the same and just because you flutter is gas does not mean that mine is. Thank you. Good luck to all. Oh and there is lots of "science" that is found to be wrong everyday.

  • I meant zero disrespect to OP. I even said how exciting it was! I was simply sharing my piece of knowledge learned from the BMB. Kumbayah.

I get that your upset but that is just uncalled for. Miscarriages are heart breaking and everyone who's has had one deserves all the love and support that they can receive. The fact that you can actually think that shows what type of person you really are. Maybe you should do some internal soul searching instead of bashing other people because you didn't get the response that you want on a PUBLIC forum.
  • No no @nik6499 I should have elaborated that comment because that's not how I meant it I was talking about if you think back to when people were posting and complaining about how negative it was to get on and see all of the miscarriage threads. I would never make fun of someone's loss but to me it all seems like bullying. I understand people have different opinions but sometimes it's just more polite to keep it to yourself. If someone wants to post that they felt Thor prune move then laugh at it and keep scrolling you don't have to shut them down. Like I said my doctor said it was possible and I got very excited yes. But It was very negative to see people posting things like they laughed so hard that their stomach hurt or was that the baby moving? And that science said it's impossible because no it doesn't it just depends on who's science project your looking at.
  • No that comment came out wrong I have a family history of miscarriages I was not intentionally making it a target.

I'm glad you elaborated! That would've gone downhill really fast! I get that what those people said affected you. But now that you took a couple minutes to breathe, it's not that serious, right? Not serious enough to call it quits and delete your TB account... The majority of people on this post were excited for you. The others are just tired of seeing the same stuff over and over so I wouldn't take what they say too personally. I don't think the laughing comments were directed at you btw.
