Any 2 under 1?

I've heard the term "Irish Twins" before. Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears have two children within a year apart. Add me to that list. I have a 4 month old, born January 2015 and pregnant with our 3rd, due January 2016. Baby #3 will be here a week before #2's 1st birthday. As if planning a 1st birthday isn't stressful enough, add pushing out a watermelon to the list! Anyone else have kids close in age? I can't seem to find a discussion about them, other than the negative, bad, and judgmental ones. 

If you must know, we were on BC (Depo) and still managed to have another miracle. I guess this baby is meant to be here. Any advice on how to handle it, double strollers, and life hacks would be great! Thanks!

There are a lot of Irish twins in here. Mine are 13 months and 16 months apart and totally planned so sont feel as if we are going to judge you. This is a safe place full of great advice!

As for double strollers, as much as they seem bulky, I definitely suggest a side by side. The tandem can be very hard to steer, push, and turn. I also suggest a good baby carrier because you are going to need free hands!

Our DD was 16 MO when the triplets were born, so 4 under 17 months...
They are now 2.5 and 14 mo

Thanks for your advice ladies! I've had some rude posters over in the Babies: 3-6 M forum so that's why i put that last few lines in there. It's the almighty moms who think that they parent best and everyone should parent the same way as they do. It's frustrating. I'm already thinking of cancelling my account because of this. I hope it just clears up and they let it go.

My first g/b set are 11 months apart and my second g/b set are 15 months apart ... Life will be chaotic for a bit, but then it smoothes out. I actually think things went easier w the two that are closer in age bc my firstborn was never old enough to realize what life was like without her brother. They are just turned 7/6 now and thick as thieves. My younger daughter, however, seemed keenly aware that she'd been usurped by her little brother as the baby of the family, lol.

I like the double city mini side by side jogger for its easy one handed turning and I have a Graco (w snap n go function) front/back double for errands. My advice would be not to stress #2s first bday party

My first two were 13 months apart. My kids are 5, 4, 3, and g/g twin 18 month olds. Baby #6 is due one day after my oldest child's sixth birthday. We may end with six five and under for a little while or six six and under Yes it can be totally hectic but every baby was prayed for and planned for. We even prayed for twins the pregnancy they were concieved. We get a lot of rude comments, many more rude ones than polite unfortunately. The world doesn't see children as a blessing which is sad for them.
