Good morning ladies, I'm currently in my 2ww, at 7dpt and I'm trying really hard to keep my nerves in check but could use your help! My DH and I had been TTC for a year when our doctor recommended us to a RE. At the clinic we were diagnose with MFI (severe low count) and were told that ICSI would be our only option. Early May I started the BC followed by injections of Superfact, Gonal F and a microdose, finishing with a trigger shot of Ovidril. After 14 days of stimulation, on May 15th we had our ER: 11 retrieved, 9 mature and 5 fertilized. ET was on day 3 with two good looking embryos and the 3 others were froze. From what I can gather on the internet implantation (God willing) would've concluded yesterday and today the HCG hormones should start to be entered into my body, I know it's super early but I don't feel any different, in fact, I haven't felt this good in weeks since the swelling from my stim cycle seems to be going down....I'm due back at the clinic for BW on June 1st and fingers crossed I'll get good news!
Anyways, if you could please let me know your own first time IVF success stories I would really like to fill my brain with positive thoughts! Someone from the infertility board thought this would be a good forum for feedback!
Thank you so much for your time!
Re: First time IVF success stories needed please!!
I got my bfp on ivf #1 at 5 days post 5 day transfer. It was the faintest line ever and didn't darken up until about 2 days later. I obviously cheated and tested way before my blood test. I didn't feel anything different except maybe more hungry than normal.
Best of luck!

I didn't have any symptoms until about week after my beta results. Even then it was only a little spotting and being exhausted. First trimester exhaustion is no joke. I never, ever want to be that tired again.
After both procedures, I told DH to not get his hopes up as I didn't feel any different and did not feel it had worked, very glad I was wrong!
I'm extremely impatient and started testing early with first positives coming up at 6dp5dt. I'm currently 8w3d with separate twins and am still just as anxious and nervous as the day of the transfer.
Fx for sticky beans!
After ectopic from IUI #1 & two additional unsuccessful IUIs we did our first IVF. Here are our IVF numbers. 17 follicles, 8 eggs, 4 out of the 8 were mature, all 4 were fertilized. 3 day transfer with 5 & 6 cell embryos (other 2 did not continue to grow in lab). Got BFP 11DP3DT (4 weeks prego, 2 weeks after IVF trigger). I did have what I would consider early symptoms before BFP, BOOBIES (°)(°) were extremely sore, and I had what was very similar to menstrual cramping on 4, 5 & 6DP3DT...assuming it was implantation cramping, thought for sure I was going to start bleed, but never did, not even spotting. And complete exhaustion, but most likely side effect from progesterone rather than an early symptom.
We are now 7w1d & going for 3rd US is tomorrow.
Best of luck to you!!!!
I know it's not so common to go back to back and honestly i feel exhausted as I have gone through two rounds of meds and now the joys of first trimester sickness. At 8 weeks I feel like I have been going through the yucky parts for Almost 4 months now. But am so happy I went with my gut to try again.
It took til 8dpt5dt to get a positive test. I even felt less symptoms the time it worked to the time it didn't, but I think it was the stimmulation meds that my body didn't feel so good the first round. FET I felt better in myself and the main early sign was peeing a lot more that was it though.
I wish you all the best! It's a long and difficult path and the ups and downs are so tough emotionally. Finger crossed for you and lots of luck
Only a few days in a felt a little tugging in my uterus area but I could have easily missed it. And then peeing around 6 dpt but it wasn't enough to convince me of anything. I was testing negative until 8dpt5dt. I had a melt down at 7dpt as I was convinced I was out. I kept reading all these people with all these symptoms and early positives and it was so disheartening.
Please don't lose hope! Keep your spirits up and distraction is key! It's hard this wait is just painful.
All the luck to you
