I think it's safe to say we are all getting a little bit psycho right now considering everyone on here is at least 36 weeks pregnant.... My man came home with 3 bottles of wine tonight.

I don't mean to continue egging this on but June's a long month and many of us are still 35 weeks.
Did your man get all that wine because he's on these boards too? I'm unsure how that's relevant... Ummm My husband made 2 boxes of pudding tonight chocolate and vanilla!!
I know I was backing away from the crazy.... But all that wine when caring for a newborn sounds a little extreme... And how did you find out LO is coming early?.

The psychics on this board told her!! Or because she's 2 cm dilated and 20% effaced and YOU KNOW that means labor is coming soon.

I'm not sure I like the flippant way you throw around the term "psycho". I find it offensive for a couple of reasons.
1) we are pregnant women, and while we have increased hormone production, I do not equate that with mental instability/illness
2) there are women in this community who live with actual mental illnes (some maybe even with psychosis) who may find it insulting that you are minimizing their very real reality
3) While I know much of society thinks it fine, I find it completely ignorant to insult/ excuse poor behaviour with mental illness
ETA: can you tell this is kind of my hill to die on? Sorry not sorry.

My thoughts exactly, I'm having flashback to the early/mid/late June threads. I think it's time to resurrect those
It's pretty neat how in January everyone was rejoicing when the so-called "Mean Girls" who used to be the main contributors on this board left...and here we are in late May having the same "problem."
It's pretty neat how the "mean" girls try to direct people to the most informative threads and make useful contributions and then we have these people hovering over the pot...
Yeah I'm with @ElRuby back then when I was a lurker only people regularly got called a-holes and the first response to every thread was a super flame and an accusation of being special sneauxflake . I like that the name calling has stopped and most first responses are to usually refer the poster to other threads. Then someone whines that regulars are rude or mean THEN it's snark to the max.
I am not seeing anything even close to January .... Have you guys who never contribute even been around that long?!
I was lurking for about a week before all that drama. It WAS pretty bad. I don't think I poked my nose out until at least a week after, too. @MrsWiggleWaggle is right. At least usually people are pointed in the right direction first and then when they throw a hissy fit everybody's like - forget it
Yeah...... There are things about back in the old j15 bump days that weren't okay..... I made a thread about freaking out about bad work situations I had seen and convinced myself were going to happen to my baby and didn't get much support........ I do believe we are a little more sympathetic. Other than that yeah...... It's not like I hated it back then it was just a bit different
A) this is an old thread your responses are way more rude and use way more foul language than is needed. Kind of the pot calling the kettle black.......
Re: Why the nasty/bitter replies on here?
