I must be getting close because I had a random guy at Barnes and Noble look at me yesterday and say, "you're not going to go into labor here are you?" Haha! I sure hope not. And shortly after that (like fifteen minutes later), a homeless woman on the street told me that I'm ready to go because it looked like the baby was dropping, and she has eights kids, so she's a pro. Oh my!

@ewenner I found the random comments really increased in the last two weeks! It's kind of hilarious.

@ewenner - first kids are supposed to drop a few weeks before delivery. Suvsequent kids are supposed to drop during labor. Mine did the opposite. They haven't really followed any of the other "supposed to" rules either. Lucky me.

I have a ton of Braxton hicks. Super crampy. But other than that nada. No signs. I'm getting really irritated. I think I should probably talk to my OB Wednesday about possible induction. I drove the longest I have driven in a while yesterday. (45 minutes). My sciatica has been super painful on both sides. But my legs were going numb driving. Especially my right side. At one point I had to pick up my leg with my hands to move it from the gas to the break. It really kind of scared me!! It must be the way he's sitting in my belly but that really did not make me feel very safe driving myself and my kids around!

Maybe he'll just take me off work the one week I have left until my due date. I don't know but that freaked me out.

@niknak1208 that was me the week before I delivered - tons of BH and then cramps. I know you're a pro at this, but I have a feeling you're next!!

@marijaa333 dear lord I hope you're right. Lol I just honestly don't know how much more I can take. I sound like such a baby!! But it really really hurts. I've been contracting all day on and off. But nothing that's intensified or that's been consistent.

mattandlora - That's interesting info.  I honestly have no idea if this kiddo has dropped or not.  I don't feel like my belly "looks" any lower than it has all along, but I do feel lots of pressure on my cervix, so who knows?  

niknak1208  - I'm so sorry you're so uncomfortable.  Hopefully you will have some relief soon!

@mellymar - yay for another June mama getting close!

@ewenner - I've been getting comments for two months, so it's nice to finally be able to say yes, I am actually really close!

DH's b-day was this week, which added to the busy-ness of the holiday weekend and last-minute baby prep. My bp is up this week, so midwives are really pushing an induction early next week, which I'm not thrilled about.
