High-Risk Pregnancy

Almost 7 weeks with no morning sickness

Hi all! I got my first positive pregnancy test on May 2nd. It is a God given miracle that I could even get pregnant this month. Just 3 days before I got my positive HPT, I received notification that my progesterone was only 2.8 indicating that I didn't even ovulate. So medically there was no way I could be pregnant, but we serve a miracle working God because 2 days later, at 11dpo, j tested positive. The following Monday at 13 DPO my bloods HCG were 102 then 2 days later it was 218, then 2 days later it was 629! So everything seems to be progressing! I had a previous early miscarriage in November and with my progesterone being so low, my OB wanted to make sure my numbers were rising appropriately.

I am now 6+5. My boobs are still sore but seem to be getting less sore. No morning sickness yet. A little indigestion. A lot of constipation. Some cramps every now and then. I am scheduled for an ultrasound on Monday June 1st.

Is it strange that my sore boobs seem to be fading and that I'm not sick??? Just a little worried since my last pregnancy was a miscarriage. I know God has this in his hands though!

Re: Almost 7 weeks with no morning sickness

  • I would say try not to worry. I had very little morning sickness and I am prego with twins. I never had sore boobs. Each pregnancy is different and I have figured this out with having twins.

Trust that God has a plan for you and your family. I have kept telling myself this because there is so much risk with twins. I am 28 weeks and owe a lot of that to some prayer and listening to my body. If I was tired I napped if I needed to take a break I took one, if I felt restless I got up and moved.

Keep your head up and try not to research everything it will scare you.

  • I am pregnant with twins also. I am beginning the 2nd trimester in a few days and haven't been sick at all. I've had a little nausea and definitely super tired but haven't thrown up at all. My mom and sister who had 5 babies all together never had sickness either. Many of my friends who have babies also said they never got the extreme sickness they were expecting. Just count yourself among the lucky :) congrats!
  • Welp, just like @Teamlamie091512 and @mconner1 I am pregnant with twins. Around 8 weeks I had bad nausea, because I didn't know I was pregnant. Once I started my prenatal vitamins my morning sickness almost completely disappeared. Sometimes I'll get sick if I'm really hungry. So I try to eat something before I start getting sick. I threw up one time from not eating enough. Other than that I hardly have any morning sickness. My boobs were extremely sore at first, but now they are sore but not as sore. I had the same thought you did, but I'm still pregnant! So I wouldn't worry about it much. God bless...I pray all is well! Hugs! P.s I'm 11wks and 5days now!
  • I learned the hard way, through self inflicted anxiety attacks, that symptoms aren't reliable. I also had a missed miscarriage, so I didn't know that I lost the baby until weeks later. I never had true "morning sickness" with either of my pregnancies and my boobs did fluctuate! If you're really worried, then just ask your doctor to work you in. My nurse said that its better to do that than worry yourself sick. Mine worked me in when my doctor wasn't there, so it was slow and she just snuck me into an ultrasound room for a quick little baby check!
