Anyone had heard of mamastrut?

I am interested in buying one! Looks like a great therapy for our postpartum belly!

My sister had a belly bandit which looks similar but without the under strap. She swore by it not just to help the uterus shrink but because she had a csection she said it gave her extra support in the abdomen.

I plan on getting one on eBay. Baby on a budget, lol

I don't know if this is a Canadian store or not, but thyme maternity released a wrap thing very similar to the belly bandit but half the price. I've heard really good things about it!

I don't really understand these belly band things. Are they for medical or cosmetic purposes?

@423ang I look at it as therapy I could/should ask my doctor about it first before ordering one. I was curious on what other ladies had in mind so I can compare and shop. >- I love Google...once I get on my computer I will have to Google on a rainy day!

If it's a therapy thing, could it possibly be covered by insurance?

I will have to ask doctor about postpartum belly and if she could prescribed and get insurance to cover it?
