Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi…I’m 41 and DH is 44. We got married last year and have been TTC since April of this year.
In addition to being of “advance maternal age” I have a neurological condition and was told years ago I should not get pregnant, but my current doctor gave me the all clear to give it a try, and after some discussion of the possible issues and complications we’ve decided to go ahead and see what happens.
So far I’ve been trying to track my cycle and ovulation with opk’s, but have had some issues with medication I take (diuretics) affecting the results, so I just ordered a basal thermometer and plan to start temping with my next cycle.
No one other than my sister knows we’re TTC, so it will be nice to have a place to share the ups and downs of the process. I’ll try not to ask too many stupid questions, and promise to study the rules and abbreviations.

Do not be afraid to ask any questions. That's what we are here for. We all have years of ttc experience so please use the knowledge we all have.
The only question you shouldn't ask is if we think you are pregnant, only a test will tell you that.
Join fertility friend when you get your bbt thermometer and read all their tutorials. That will give you a world if knowledge.
Welcome and good luck.
