Anyone else due soon, and planning on going all natural?! Just took a tour of our hospital last weekend, and was VERY impressed. I will be requesting the L&D room that has a massive tub in it to help with labor!! Hopefully going to be able to stick with the "no drugs" plan!!
Also plan on breastfeeding, and found out that if you drink pineapple juice it could help breastfeeding go much smoother and virtually pain free, since it's a natural anti-inflammatory!
Starting to get more freaked out. Officially "full-term" so baby Henley could show up any day, which honestly is fine because I'm tired of being a baby oven, but the nerves are kicking in! Hospital bag is packed (mostly), baby girl's room is organized and ready. House still isn't as clean as I want it. How is everyone dealing with that? Are you hiring someone to clean before you come home? Is your mom or significant other helping out? I feel like my fiance and step-son just aren't cleaning as well as I want them to!! AAAHHHHH

Good luck ladies!! We are almost there!!
My husband hired a house cleaner. I guess I better get to work on the rest. Whoops.
Car seat isn't installed, no freezer meals here because my fiance is the one who cooks anyways, lucky mom lives 5 blocks away, so she will be around to help out. I'm working up until the day if I can!! Desk job, so it shouldn't be difficult. I'd go insane if I wasted maternity leave without my precious girl to spend it with!! FTM and very excited. Been helping raise my teenage stepson, the other one officially comes to live with us in July, so I will have my hands full, but very thankful I'll have another girl in the house!!
If you're breastfeeding I highly recommend reading The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding by La Leche League. Its amazing. Wish we had a group close by, pretty sure we don't.
I had already toured the hospital and been up there twice since that's my office policy if your bp is too high. My hospital bag is packed and I put the carseat in last week. Some food is frozen and we have been saving up our giftcards for restaurants to carry out.
So close! Not sure what sounds worse - giving birth or staying this pregnant, lol. Luckily I don't really have a choice!
We have a puppy having surgery next Tuesday, needs picked up Wednesday. I all of the sudden feel very NOT ready!!!! AAHHHH
Elective inductions can increase your risk for a cascade of other interventions ultimately leading to a c-section but it really all depends on your preference. Don't be afraid to say NO! It's your body, your baby and it knows when it's time.
Wishing you all the best & most importantly a beautiful birth!
