I think that skipping a hair wash is gross. I know it's good for your hair and that you're supposed to wash every other day, but it just looks greasy and lank.

OK OK OK... I'll go though I'm sure I'll get flamed for this one.
I hate the prof pics on TB of people's belly's. Especially when someone is under 15 weeks. I don't have anyone in particular, but it's a pet peeve of mine.
i have one along those lines. i despise the pics of baby with lipstick kisses all over them, usually in honor of valentines day. all i can think of is that poor baby is covered in cheap lipstick that isn't going to come off easily.and it weirds me out when husband paints a picture on the belly at halloween. why?!
@313meg ugh so cold here. gray and never climbs above lows 50s. when DH said we were moving to Cali i thought beaches and sunshine but its more like winter coats year round.
Baby names....we are not even out of the first tri yet. Pleeenty of time to think this through. Hell this is baby 9 for us and i never settle on any name until i lay eyes on my baby. Last one i took the full 48 hours.
@313Meg yes I saw a prof pic on TB today with their "belly bump pic" of under 15 weeks. Think same person asked if anyone else was showing at (8?, I think it was) weeks........
Those stick figure family stickers that people put on the back of their car or people with "I love my greyhound (or whatever kind of dog)" stickers. Really?!?
I hate the stick figure families too @ToneGirl ! I'm also pretty sure I saw an episode of criminal minds where the killer picked his victims based on those. That solidified my decision to never do that

Unless you had one already picked out. Then I can understand.

This! I am not fond of any stickers on a vehicle. Maybe it's my ocd but those things are hard to get off and blemish the vehicle.

I agree! I don't put stickers on my car either. I also get a kick out of those "My son is an honor roll student at ___"

Or if I'm being my worry wart self... a good way to get predators to notice that this family has 4 kids, 1 goes to this school, 1 plays this sport on this team, and you probably can figure out when I am at the grocery and alone and have my hands full with kids.
I hate when people complain about having a December baby because of the winter and the holidays. It seems so petty to me. Definitely first world problems.
I also hate the idea of having a half birthday for the kids. Its just teaching them that their birth date isn't good enough because you cant go in a pool.

Ugh that too!!! And any shirt with the childs name on it. Wtf are people thinking?

Might as well put your address, phone number and social security # on the back of your car while you're at it!
I hate the people on Facebook who are not close friends or family that are demanding belly pics. Why do you need to see my belly? At 11 weeks there's not much to see. It's okay for people to take a snapshot of their tummies week by week, most people think it's cute,I happen to not be one of them, so if I don't want to then I don't need to. Especially when I'm very short, a bit overweight already, and another extra 25 lbs on me will look like a LOT. These will be same people who will ask what I'm eating, if I'm having twins, and that I'll regret it to the end of my days if I don't have maternity photos. Ugghhhh. (This is not to insult women who take them, if you like them and want them - document away!)
So I guess my UO is that I don't like pregnancy photos, and no one can make me take them!! Rant over. LOL
I cannot stand when people ask for opinions about having an elective c-section because they are scared of pushing out a big baby. I am 5'1 and pushed an almost 10 lb baby out. Yes I had a 4th degree tear but I couldn't imagine having a major surgery because I was scared of pushing.
I hate when people complain about having a December baby because of the winter and the holidays. It seems so petty to me. Definitely first world problems.
I also hate the idea of having a half birthday for the kids. Its just teaching them that their birth date isn't good enough because you cant go in a pool.
THIS! I was born right before Thanksgiving. People, including grandparents, would forget my birthday or hold onto my present until we visited for Christmas. That can be hard for a 6 year old. But my mom always made my birthday special and I knew I was loved on my day, so I've never had a bad Birthday! You can make sure that your kid feels special no matter what time of year they're born! I need to go give my mom a hug now...

So I do agree with this 100%....BUT I did find myself close to tears when BIL was laughing histerically when we told him the EDD was 12/24.

My UO this week is NBR. I hate bridesmaids who complain about everything.... The wedding being on a long weekend, the colour/style/Price of the dress. You can say No to being one!! Either get off your high horse and suck it up or quit the wedding!

I don't get it. Why was he laughing?
Because he thought it was hilarious that our baby was going to be born so close to Christmas. Hilarious, right?
Sometimes UO posts are like the equivalent to screaming into a pillow... so much tension just released in one post, hahaha...
I CAN'T with anything monogrammed. I'm so very sorry to all of you monogram lovers out there, to each their own, but names and/or initials all over my child's belongings will just not be happening.
I think that skipping a hair wash is gross. I know it's good for your hair and that you're supposed to wash every other day, but it just looks greasy and lank.
That's only true for SOME hair. If I wash my hair more than twice a week it gets dry and dull. And it never gets greasy if I don't wash it. When you have thicker wavy hair the every day thing doesn't work.

Oh yes. I'm ROFL. Even the loveliest people are dumb sometimes.
Overly religious debates in a conversation on medical topics. Faith is a really personal subject, and I opened up a thread and wherever it jumped to sounded like a planned parenthood protest
I hate Matilda Jane. Think it's a bunch of overpriced ugly costumes. My DD one friend is always dressed head to toe in this stuff.
And on the same note, I hate matchy matchy families. The mom wears pink the dad wears green and the kids are in both colors. Or it's Tuesday so the whole family is in purple. Or you go to a circus themed birthday party and this kid ( not the birthday kid) is basically in a Halloween costume like the ring master. TOO MUCH!! What are you hiding behind all of the distractions? Drives me bonkers, can you tell? LOL
I've got one born 5 days before xmas, will have another even closer shut yer face about my babies being born close to Xmas!
I have a dec 27th baby. Was never a big deal. She was due jan 18th. We never mixed her bday and christmas. People always have comments to make but in our household it isn't a deal because we never made anything of it. Now i am due dec 1st and run the chance of having a baby born around thanksgiving. Don't care. Having a baby not some holiday inconvenience. I concur...most definitely a first world problem.
