EWCM after ovulation?

So I've been temping, OPKs, and checking CM with Fertility Friend.  I had a marked thermal shift early this week and EWCM.  FF marked Monday (CD20) as my O date.  However, I am continuing to have EWCM.  All OPKs have been negative.  Can FF be wrong about my O date?  Would you continue the BD until the EWCM dries up?  FF (and other sites) says EWCM tends to dry up quickly after O'ing?

CD 20 looks like O to me. FF gave you dotted crosshairs because its not 100% sure. Probably because you still have fertile cm.
This is why temping is important in conjunction with checking cm. CM is not always textbook for everyone. The temp shift is what really really confirms O. You can keep humping it out just in case FF moves your crosshairs but right now CD 20 definitely looks right.

Thanks!  I was thinking CD20 also, but was just confused about the EWCM.  Actually, if I go change the OPK to positive on CD20, I get straight crosshairs, so don't sure if FF is taking into account the EWCM (which confused me even more).  I wish I haven't heard about changing the facts to see what would would/could happen (but that chart is all factual)!!!
  • I agree its a pretty pronounced thermal shift. I'd go with CD 20 as well.

Since your OPKs are negative, it is possible that you are gearing up to O but have not O'd yet. Keep up with the OPKs so that you don't miss your window.

Your temps look like cd20 but I'd keep having sex until your cm turns to creamy or dries up. Also are you doing opk's twice per day? Maybe you missed your surge.

  • Looks like you might not be using a basal body thermometer. Next time get one that goes to two decimal places.
