Share your favorite blog(s)!

I've seen a few pretty good blogs shared on this forum in the past and I'd love to hear about more. Lucie's List was fantastic when I was a FTM in helping me figure out what gear I needed and which was best for my situation. Mylovelylittlelunchbox is great for baby led weaning (blw) recipes that are easy to make, healthy, and delicious! I'd love to see more recipe ones but am happy to hear about whatever.

What blogs are your fave and/or have been helpful to you?

I loved Lucie's List with my first too. Here is a list of just a few I like...
I love the NYC Baby Guy also for products www.babyguygearguide.com
Mama Love & Baby for parenting & lifestyle www.mamaandbabylove.com
Too Stinkin Cute for party planning & ideas toostinkincute.blogspot.com

Technically not a blog but Car Seat for the Littles has been a big help. If there is anything I would tell parents to study and spend time on is to research how to properly install and use car seats. I can't say how many times I see on facebook pictures of littles improperly put in their car seat. https://csftl.org

Edited to add that Car Seat for the Littles also has a FB Page.

  • There's a girl on YouTube that I quite like. Her name is "Missy Lanning". She's also pregnant right now and does cute little "bump dates" every week. Also if you go back in her post history she covers a ton of topics.

I also enjoy "Mama natural" on YouTube and a few other mommyvloggers :)

  • I really like troublesome tots. It's about helping baby sleep better and there is a really great Facebook group with the same name.
  • For entertainment Scary Mommy and Honest Toddler are both awesome.

She blogs about parenting and other life stuff, and also makes hilarious parenting parody videos of popular songs (my favourite is the Bedtime cover of Timber by Pitbull and Ke$ha)

  • I'm a big fan of Pregnant Chicken

The WNYC show/podcast Longest Shortest Time is excellent they have a FB group called Longest Shortest Time Mamas that is a great place to ask questions and get good advice and encouragement from seasoned mamas

Not a pregnancy/parenting blog, but wanted to share https://minimalistbaker.com/
My family is neither vegan nor vegetarian, but try to limit meat in our diet.  I've noticed that especially when I'm pregnant, meat just does not do it for me.  Anyhow, most of her recipes are vegan, a lot gluten free.  Everything I have made from her blog and cookbooks is delicious, healthy and easy.  Both my husband and toddler like her stuff too.
  • All of these seem great! I am making a transition from full time worker to SAHM in July and just found this new neat cooking blog. Love the slow cooker recipes as that will free up my day for other stuff!  https://iowagirleats.com/recipes/

Love Iowagirl!  Her little boy is so cute, her pics kill me.  If you like her, try Dinner: A Love Story.  The couple who do it are good writers, and they have two girls, so it's all with a family bias.  I've gotten some good recs off their blog for books and podcast, as well as the recipes.
I could talk food blogs and cookbooks all day, love them.
  • These are not pregnancy blogs but have helped me with parenting, shopping, homeschooling and healthy eating for our family.

www.moneysavingmom.com Love this! She has great tips and tells you on great deals
www.youngwifesguide.com Great info for marriage and other things
https://www.jamerrillstewart.com/  She has some great tips on shopping for a larger family or a small budget
www.womenlivingwell.com I have been following her for years. She focuses on Christian faith and talks about homeschooling once in awhile

Natural Mama on Youtube is awesome!
Nat and Wes (and the rest!) I just started following her on Youtube because of having twins
