Possible Mono Mono twins

we found out today that we are having twins and are overjoyed! However, the doctor said she doesn't see a line indicating separate sacks so we could have a high risk 2 baby 1 placenta and 1 sac pregnancy. We are seeing a specialist in a few weeks for more info, but we are devastated that this could be such a high risk pregnancy and having a hard time celebrating the good news. Anyone else have this experience?

    Not personally but I have a friend who did. She was in the hospital on campus mutinous monitoring from 26 weeks with a plan to have a cesarean at 34 weeks. The cords twisted around 33 weeks so she had her cesarean at that point. I guess with mono mono the cords always get tangled which is why they did inpatient monitoring from 26 weeks
