If given the opportunity, would you want to be a SAHM? As a working mom, I have many conflicts with SAHMs who make snide comments toward me (either bluntly or in a passive aggressive way) about working instead of being home.
What! I was a working mom & I'm now a SAHM. Both gigs are super hard, but I thinking working was much harder! Shame on them & props to you!

Honestly, I get the best of both worlds. I work 2 or 3 nights a week and the rest of the time I'm with my child. I've always been the kind of person who believes you should do whatever you feel is best for your family, and I don't ever bash anyone for staying at home. I live in the south, and I feel like we are the last the accept the idea of a mother and wife having a career. Edited: quoting difficulties

I am just hopping on now after work but this was awesome @27alex !
I didn't see this asked or maybe I missed it. What is DHs profession?
DH sells cars! Chrysler/Jeep in particular. We're in the process of appealing his retirement from the Navy in the hopes that he'll get 100% because his body can't handle work for more than 4 hours. If we can do that, he'll get promoted to SAHD.

GL! My BIL only got partial retirement from the coast guard after early medical discharge. Half his spine is fused together.

Wow! We are fortunate enough that he hasn't had surgery, but he was in a wheelchair for 6 months when he got out and they almost took his leg.

How old is your DH?
BTW, you definitely present yourself as older than 25. Props to you!

Ahh! I'm sad I missed this! I got way too much work done today apparently and neglected TB.
Q: what are you most proud of? What's one of your favorite memories with DH?
I moved out of my parents house at 20, moved 600 miles away at 21, and I've been pretty self sufficient since. Favorite memory with DH was the first big family vacation he came on. We were recently engaged and went to the Outer Banks with 17 of my family members.
