I think that H will probably be one of those guys that is convinced sex will hurt the baby and will probably refuse to have sex with me. I also am one of those women who gets crazy on hormones and will really want sex and will be really angry about not getting it.
Also going to basically be a useless mess without my Adderall and caffeine. Booo.

Skiing. Probably my #1 favorite thing to do/biggest stress reliever in the winter. While I've done it my whole life, I'm not sure my OB will give me the green light (I've seen mixed responses on the WWW), especially if I get a BFP soonish and am farther along.
A small price to pay for a LO, but it stinks nonetheless
I think you're right on all accounts, but you might have some leeway in the beginning. I went skiing at 10 weeks without an issue. And I am not particularly good (though I don't typically fall)--you sound better. My OB had no problem with it at that point in the pregnancy. After your uterus leaves the protected area behind the pubic bone (for most, 2nd trimester forward, I think?), it's probably not a good idea.
My mom went skiing up until 8 months with my brother. He's fine.

This kind of thing comes up a lot with horse riders since there's the risk of falling and all. It's a good way to start a heated discussion on a horse forum, lol. Some quit right away and condemn all that don't do the same, some ride the whole way through. Most get really uncomfortable in the third trimester when their hips start to spread and their bellies are in the way and stop then.
Do what you're comfortable with and don't do anything particularly stupid and you'll be fine (skiier's case, don't do an especially dangerous hill, in my case, don't ride stupid horses or in stupid situations). My old boss was a trainer and continued riding til about 7 months, even fell off a couple times, I personally wouldn't have gotten on that horse let alone twice, but baby is tucked in there pretty good. They really aren't all that fragile.

I know my OB (same as sister with kids) follows it and actually scared the ish out of her not to eat any cold cuts. I guess to each their own. I'd personally rather not risk it but wouldn't judge anyone who did. I'm a big ol' scaredy cat!
You can also make your own deli meat at home if you decide you want to forego cold cuts. I have pinned recipes and how-tos using both a crock pot and/or the oven. That way you can still have sandwiches.
Honestly I would be more scared of making my own than just buying it because I don't have a clue what I'm doing and have no training in food safety. I don't really like meat anyway so I can forgo the 2 jimmy johns subs I have per year anyway.
I'll miss the Angry Orchard, hot baths (with Lush products, those are the best) though I can still take warm baths, and sleeping on my stomach or back, because sleeping on my side makes me have to pee.
Just get a digital meat thermometer (I have one that is safe to go in the oven- you just shut the cord in the oven door; it is also long enough to fit through the meat thermometer hole on my crock pot lid). You then tell the digital part that sits on the counter what your target temp is and put the thermometer into the thickest part of the meat. The thermometer then screams letting you know when your meat is done!
I will miss our hot tub. DH and I bought an inflatable hot tub this Christmas it has been amazing. It is our place to relax and reconnect.
My two cents about Cold cuts. My OB says the kind you get cut in the deli are ok...she does not like you to eat precut and packaged deli meat. I limited myself but did have some. The biggest concern is Listeria. The biggest Listeria outbreak in recent years is Blue Bell Ice Cream. No ice cream no way for this mama! It is all about risk and benefit

I'm just curious but everyone who calls deli meat cold cuts, where are you from? I've never heard anyone call it that before.
I say sandwich meat...
I say this too actually. And I honestly rarely ever eat it in the first place bc I can only have gluten free bread and that has so many more calories. Not that y'all asked....
@everycol0r I say deli meat too. But subway has a "cold cut combo" so I am familiar with the term.
I mean I've heard it I guess, so I knew what it meant, but no one around here ever says cold cuts. I didn't know it was a more northern thing, sorta like "pop".

Yeah I think it is. Here a sprite, dr. pepper, pepsi? It's all coke to us. "What kind of coke do you want? - I think I'd like a dr. pepper!"

Pepsi! Their slogan should be "Is Pepsi okay?" "I'll have a Dr. Pepper."

I usually say sandwich meat. But more often than not I will refer to the specific meat because I don't mix two different meats. I'm an odd person.

Does it cook the baby or something?
This is what I got from mayoclinic:
Pregnancy and hot tubs can be a dangerous combination.
Spending 10 minutes or more in a hot tub can raise your body temperature to 102 F (38.9 C), causing a condition known as hyperthermia. Some studies have shown an increased risk of miscarriage and neural tube defects — serious abnormalities of the brain or spinal cord — in the babies of women who experience high temperatures during the first four to six weeks of pregnancy.
If you might be pregnant and plan to use a hot tub, or you choose to use a hot tub during pregnancy, take these steps to reduce the risks:
Limit time in the hot tub to less than 10 minutes.
Avoid sitting near the inlet that provides newly heated water.
Avoid spending time in the hot tub once a week or more.
Get out of the hot tub if you start to sweat or feel any discomfort.
Stay out of the hot tub if you aren't in good health or you already have an elevated temperature due to fever, exercise, or previous hot tub or sauna use.
If you used a hot tub for a lengthy period of time early in pregnancy, consider talking to your doctor about ways to detect neural tube defects during pregnancy.
Oh geez, there goes my hot baths while TTC. 4 weeks is about when you would find out. :-q

It heats your body which in turns heats the growing baby. You can cool off quickly by going into air conditioning and even sweating but it takes a lot longer for the growing baby to cool off since they are inside of you.
