Feb 6th. We both had some wine and were getting very hot. I even remember saying 'I'm going to end up pregnant' after we were done and him joking around and talking to my belly.....funny enough
Yep. March 8th. Dh was gone on two back to back business trips. Only night he was home. Went in for a tonsillectomy 11 days later and walked out with 2 tonsils and a beta of 11. Dammit, lol! Nurses were like "um....we think you got pregnant like yesterday from the numbers" hahaha
TMI: Valentine's Day. We had wine and everything was pretty amazing. I remember saying to him "if that's the last time I ever have sex, il be happy, that was the best sex we've ever had." Jokes on me cos I'm on pelvic rest so it was the last time for a long time!! Good job we went out with a bang hey
So at the time H and I were having sex like twice a day for month. We were both horny little things in January I guess. Jokes on me he was just "trying" to see if he loved me enough to work on our marriage issues...nope told me he was leaving me on my birthday. Took a pregnancy test the day after his birthday.
Not sure of the exact day, but we took a 1-week, kid-free cruise to the Bahamas and it was definitely one of those times. With our all-you-can-drink liquor package & just the 2 of us in our stateroom, who the hell knows which day it was?
We went camping one weekend and talk a walk up the river bank to a deserted place for a skinny dip which led to a bit more. Baby was conceived in nature lol.
On the 16th Feb. After my second miscarriage in a row and I had stopped bleeding husband begged me for sex. I wasn't really in the mood but did it anyway. Two weeks later took a test and pregnant. Now very happy to have twins on the way
We had been trying to get pregnant for about 2 years. He took me away for our anniversary, to a 1700s style stone castle. After a night of amazing food, bourbon and high heels I got pregnant. He actually said if I didn't get pregnant after that I wasn't going to!
Last week in Feb, also happens to be the week my younger brother moved in with Hubs and me....and my mom was visiting. We were sneaking around (our own house) like school kids. DH didn't want to when my mom was here, but I just told him "hey she wants a grand baby, so you better get busy!" After a short 4 months of trying I guess we just needed the excitement of getting caught!!
Feb 9th. Lol we went out to vegas for a mini vaca. We both knew i was ovulated but we didn't use any precaution lol. Thaught the morning after pill would help..but nope that baby sure stuck in there. Now we're expecting our first baby.
Our First Valentine's Day being married! I got a positive OPK on Feb 13th so we BD Valentines Day and 9 days later, got my +HPT!! First month TTC and only BD twice! The first time was too far from O to be my conception date.

It's too late for Plan B if you've already ovulated.
? Plan B can cause immediate shedding of lining, like a period which prevents implantation. Implantation takes up to 5 days. As long as it's taken within 48 hours, it absolutely can work after ovulation! Please know your facts. Ovulation timing wouldn't matter if it is taken right away. Obviously, sometimes it doesn't work...as with all forms of other birth control, but you absolutely can take plan b after ovulation!!
It was a shower quickie for us!! Hehe. And it was not planned. I believe we had sex on a Sunday and I ovulated that Wednesday. Amazing how long sperm can live.
I do. I was completely and totally exhausted and honestly not even slightly in the mood but being that I love my hubby I did my best to not let him know! I also knew I was ovulating because of an ultrasound with my RE a few days before BUT since I was ovulating on the side with no tube I wasn't expecting to get pregnant!

Plan B works primarily by delaying ovulation, per their website's FAQ. Another informative website about different types of EC states, "Although ella works closer to the time of ovulation than progestin-only EC (such as Plan B One-Step), emergency contraceptive pills - including ella - do not appear to work if you are too close to ovulation, or have already ovulated."
Last day of Feb and i ovulated on march 1(our 1 year wedding anniversary). We fought bad for a week before that, and let it all slide for a few hours. It was the most romantic sex we had in a looooong time. He said a few days later: yeah, i'm good, you are for sure pregnant. Well....here we are!
Valentine's weekend, at my girlfriends house. We stayed there on our way to Colorado for skiing, I've told them this baby is half theirs for hosting us

Ouch.
I'm so sorry! What did he say about the pregnancy?

That sounds so cool! Where is a 1700s stone castle? I have always wanted to say in one!
Mine is also an IVF baby so yes, I know the EXACT date we conceived! Feb 12 was the day of my egg retrieval and Feb 15 was transfer day! We also did Mat21 and found out we are having a perfectly healthy boy!
I said that it "can" work. I'm aware of the primary effect of plan b, but am also aware that it can also cause shedding of the uterine lining. Which would prevent implantation. It is only about 90% effective when taken at just the right time to begin with, however in an emergency, which is what it's intended for, people need to be aware that it CAN indeed prevent implantation and prevent a pregnancy AFTER ovulation. So the statement that it "won't work after ovulation" is factually incorrect. If it's an emergency, people should be aware that as a first line of defense it can absolutely (without a guarantee as I clearly stated in my first posted response) work after ovulation in a number of at risk women. To state otherwise, takes a first chance approach off the table and could recklessly misinform women on whom it would have possibly worked for...even AFTER ovulation. Point being, stopping ovulation, though the primary intended result, is not the ONLY result or use, and it shouldn't be stated that it is. If you need multiple sources to back this up, I suggest you contact a physician or pharmacist who can give you the full information.
It was Valentines Day! He had Surprised me with a trip into the city to a restuataunt (jekyll and hyde) that I'd been bugging him about for months. I wore my fancy shoes he'd gotten me for Christmas for the first time.(It felt good to be his woman)To me he'd done everything rite. We got home, and after the 2 fancy drinks, i thanked him! Lol. Now all three of us will be scorpios. Love my guy.
I am a WHNP student (women's health) who graduates next month and works in women's health. Plan B works similar to OCP. It has only been found to delay ovulation and thickens cervical mucus. It will not harm an existing pregnancy and/or fertilized egg. That's evidence-based information. There is (Currently) no information that finds a link between shedding of lining to prevent a fertilized egg from implanting, but that has not been officially ruled out, so it's listed as a possibility per the manufacturer (even though data does not suggest link).
^^^^ agreed. Thank you for saying it more professionally than I can. A friend of mine just took it Saturday on day 17 of her cycle. Began vomiting 8 hours later and started a heavy period after 24 hours. 4 days later it is lessening and seems to have been a jump started normal period. It will be at least another couple of weeks to be sure she is in the clear, but for her, even post ovulation, it seems likely that plan b would have done its job. It's important to know that although not a guarantee, there is a possibility for those who need an immediate option. It's just safer to say "there's no guarantee....but there's a possibility". Than to say, "It will not work so don't bother" I guess Is what I really meant.
After getting pregnant by IUI the first time, I was sure I was going to need help for the second one. I made an appointment with my fertility doctor, but was going with my husband on a trip to Italy for my 40th first. I knew I was ovulating on the day we arrived in Rome so we basically ripped each other's clothes off as soon as we got in our hotel room! That was February 9th and after 10 days of wining and dining with abandon, I got news that we brought home the best souvenir from our trip!! Baby #2 is due November 2nd!
I know this one and the last one (DH 1st, my 2nd). This one was a combined Valentines- his bday weekend (2 days apart), and I had the Drs appointment to confirm on DD1 birthday. DD2 was conceived Mothers Day weekend, and we found out in time for Fathers Day weekend (when we told his family).
O don't remember the exact day because we were very "active" the weeks prior to my bfp but... I had never expirenced the big O before and I had my first one right around that window of fertility. I've always lacked lubrication which of course you can make up for in the vagina with products but you can't make up for it inside the cervix. We had been trying for a few years before that with no success. I'm convinced it was the big O thatcreated enough lubrication for those little guys to swim all the way through.
On my birthday! My friend said "Oh a present that can't be wrapped!!" And I said "Maybe if it was wrapped we wouldn't be here" totally joking, thought I'd make light of it! It was however very unexpected. We had only been married 4 months.
Re: Do you know when your baby was conceived?

Holllaaaa me too!! Saw the early showing a couple days before Valentine's Day, went home, and made a baby!
My baby's a miracle baby because I was on birth control at the time and I took Plan B the next day. My doctors are baffled by it. Just like we are.
