I'm 16 weeks and 4 days and I've had period like cramping and no bleeding but I'm a little concerned because it kind of feels like it's out of nowhere I had a little in the first trimester and it's returned with a vengeance
I had similar pain and I noticed I was just discharging bigger globs after the cramping subsided. No idea why but so far at 20 weeks everything has been good. No bleeding is a good sign.
It sounds like round ligament pain. The first time I felt it I went into a horrible crying panic spree, but when I told my mom she said it was normal. Sometimes it will be SO sharp and strong and in my pelvis that I can't help but panic, but if you're not bleeding it is probably just your muscles stretching. Try to relax, drink something yummy (hot cocoa is my favorite when I'm stressed ) and try to think positive. You can try a low heating pad on your tummy to help it not be so painful. It happens most when you move suddenly (like when you sneeze or laugh, or get up to walk after a period of sitting down).
I had this too. My doctor said it was braxton hicks, and to rest and hydrate. It makes me nervous too. But he also said as long as there is no bleeding, not to be concerned.
I had cramping bad last week and have really popped. I think it was just the stretching of everything. I was constantly checking to see if I was bleeding as well, but none! Popping is painful! The cramping has subsided and I'm hoping that my little growth spurt is over for a while!
