Question for ladies who've done injectables

Hi everyone!  I have another question regarding injectables.  I've decided the only luck I have is bad luck.  I went in for my mid-cycle scan today, assuming we'd be triggering tonight and doing an IUI on Wednesday.  Um, no.  I had 6 mature follicles and 2 that were "close."  Per my RE, his last set of triplets were one mature and two "close" ones, so he said "NO WAY!"  I had 17 measurable follicles!! WTF?  I was on the same medication/dosage, just took one more day than my last IUI cycle.

So, my question - do you guys know if weight impacts your response?  I've lost some weight - only 18 pounds.  Do you think that could have contributed to this massive fail?  I'm guessing when I go in on CD3 of next cycle, I'll have multiple cysts and have to take another month off given this response.  Seriously.  This makes me want to scream....  Damn you PCOS!!!

    That just sucks.
No info on injectables just wanted to send you hugs and congrats on the weigh loss. Loosing the weight will help the PCOS.

Thanks @hooligans4.  Having another month off will give me more time to lose weight, I guess.  :)

I have yet to do any of the fancy drugs so can't offer any advice in that area but just wanted to send you a virtual hug regarding the whole PCOS thing as I'm slowly realizing what a big pain in the butt it can be. But from what I've read, losing weight really helps the whole situation so it sounds like you're on the right path in that department. Good luck!
