Cycle Status:



QOTW: This coming weekend is Memorial Day weekend in the US.  Any holiday plans?  For those not in the US, any fun things planned this coming weekend?

Cycle Status: Two more days of BCPs then baseline on Wednesday and starting stims for IVF #1.  Eek!

QOTW: We usually go out to my parents for Memorial Day but with monitoring not sure if we're going to do that this year.  Hoping to at least get to the parade on Monday because DD loves parades.

Cycle Status:  Beta was 98 last week.  I've been bleeding for over 2 weeks now so I'm hoping beta dropped low enough for AF to start.  

QOTW:  We have a weekend full of BBQs!

CS: WAITING.  11 more BCP pills, 22 down...

We might go to the beach.  Maybe.  Otherwise, just hanging out at home. It is supposed to be pretty nice.

Cycle Status: Take my last BCP on Saturday! Two months of waiting between cycles is finally almost over. IVF #3 kicks off next Tuesday. My acupuncture treatments start this week.

Holiday Plans: It depends on the weather, but I hope we get to be outside enjoying the sun.

Status: I need to call and schedule my surgery (thanks for the reminder!). We are shooting for the first week or 2 in June so we can see if something happens on its own when I start the progesterone on Wednesday. 

QOTW: I thought Mem Day was next weekend so I have us booked for a baseball game on Saturday and a golf outing for DH/ shopping for L & I (or maybe the zoo) on Sunday. We shall see if anything else pops up this week.

Femera TI cycle was a bust.  I am waiting on AF so that I can schedule another HSG.  My last HSG was before Lillian.  But, since we aren't looking to do IVF again (spent too much money on it so far) and I'm not ready to give up, they want me to do one.  Anyhow, it was a very miserable experience last time that ended with inconclusive results as my uterus kept having spasms (it showed both tubes blocked but it was believed it was from spasms).  I will have some sort of sedative but probably just valium in order to see if that helps with the spasm issue.  We shall see!  If that goes well, we will likely do a few more Femera TI cycles before calling it quits.

QOTW:  I'm not sure what we will do.  When I was little we used to go to my Grandmother's house and then visit my grandfather's and other family members' grave sites.   Since my grandmother died, we don't really have anyone close we would see.  So, it isn't something we have done with our daughter.  I think we will likely go visit my parents and go hiking or fishing.

Status is same. Not looking forward to the 6 year mark in August. Another year is just cruel, so I'm trying not to think about it too much.

QOTW: no plans. Hanging around. Maybe an amusement park, but DS has been kind of crazy lately so I'm not mentioning it to him yet.

CD 16. Natural cycle again. Trying to decide if there is any earthly way we could ever save enough for IVF some day a long time from now. 

No set plans for the weekend yet. We will probably do a barbecue on Monday and maybe have my dad over that day too.

CD: no cycles ever.... 3 weeks until my IVF apt and see what testing needs to be redone to prepare for IVF this summer. I really hope I don't have to do another HSG. It has been two years since my first one. I did have a csection so I don't know if they will make me redo it because of that. We shall see.....

QOTW: We are going to a fancy dinner on Satirday with my parents to celebrate my bday a few weeks ago and Mother's Day. We have a babysitter coming for the first time and it makes me so nervous!!!

My RE was ok with either a saline sonohysterogram or an HSG, but after my first failed IVF i wanted an HSG to check for hydrosalpinx.

I have had 4 or 5 saline sonos and a few HSGs. They get easier, because you just know what to expect. I hope your uterus cooperates @STL34.

Cycle status: middle of FET cycle. Lining is 7 and prog 240's they said keep taking estrogen pills and next u/s b/w next Friday and transfer on the 4th.

QOTW: no plans other than taking care of the boys so DH can work on our basement. We have put the remodel off due to IF for years and finally are just going to do as much as we can till money runs out!! It's framed and DH is an electrical contractor so FINALLY to the point where he can do his thing down there!!

@ellebelle2384 good luck with baseline!! I remember the excitement starting my first IVF cycle!! You can do it!

@Frenchteachermama I wasn't around for your BFP, but I am so sorry for your loss. I have had my share and beta h*ll too.

@Annibes I have no words. I wish things wouldn't be this way. It has been 7 years since we started trying for our first and it feels like a lifetime ago. I am so ready to be done with the trying to get PG part of life. But as all of the women on this board can attest we don't feel our families are complete so we have to keep trying. I don't know your story and can't see siggys from my phone, but I just had to say I am thinking of you and your heavy heart. My heart breaks for you.

@Flamingemu, this will be my third HSG and I've had at least 5 saline sonos. I'm just hoping my cervix and uterus cooperate better this time around!  Last time was pretty awful!

I couldn't imagine the spasms. My last saline sono was terrible because they were fishing around (grasping at straws) to find a way around the scar tissue. Then I had to sit in a car for several hours. no bueno. All I wanted to do was lie down.

Thanks, all, and good luck to everyone. @jeannaqueena I never updated my signature after the Bump re-formatted. DS was conceived quickly (2 cycles). We started trying for second in Aug 2010, found to have 2IF but not sure exactly what is wrong. I test out ok, DH was borderline low normal with low morph, then had varicoceles repaired and morphology went way down. DS has autism so we aren't pushing for IVF because of the cost of his therapies and risk of more kids with autism. We decided to go for a few iuis over the winter, all 3 were busts, so I'm on the pill to help with endo (endo itself is mild, the pain from the endo is not) until we feel like "trying" again, if we do.
