Re: FABULOUS FRIDAY!!!!

  • Sorry for the poor grammar, for some odd reason it won't let me edit. I will blame it on the Cosmo I'm currently drinking.

I have no cake orders tomorrow so I'm spending the day gardening. I can't wait. My hands are itching to get into some dirt. I plant everything everywhere so it's a major event.

Sunday I have a cake/cupcake order but it's a simple tiered anniversary cake so I should be done late morning then hopefully I can get some more gardening in before I go to my mothers to celebrate one of my brothers birthdays.

I'm hoping to O this weekend, I usually don't drink but I'm breaking all the rules cause I need it!!!!!!

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.

  • I will second that TGIF! What a crazy week - i am exhausted. Could definitely use a beer, but it will have to be imaginary as i am solidly in the tww.

Have a friends party to go to tomorrow late afternoon. Then in the evening family friends (my partner's) from out of town  arrive for a couple of day. Try to relax and get some things done around the house in between.

After a weird warm and sunny winter, it is cold and snowy now that it is May :/

  • TGIF!  It's been a long, stressful week at work.  UGH!  I have tomorrow off and I'm going to the Twins game with my sister-in-law.  It'll be nice to be outside though it's supposed to be humid with storms coming in later.  Oh well.  I start four days in a row at work on Sunday (though I have a back-up lined up for Wednesday since I may have IUI that day).  You are all probably thinking "What a pansy.  Most people work five days a week!"  They ARE 10 hour days and our NICU can be really busy, so it's kind of exhausting.  I try to do no more than 3 in a row.  What was I thinking?

No drinks, but I'd love a beer right about now!
    *** Child & current pregnancy mentioned ***
    Me - 41 (PCOS), Hubby - 43 (healthy)
7/2013 - Sweet baby girl born (Clomid + TI)
    3/2014 - TTC #2, return to RE 7/2014
12/2015: IVF #1 transferred two great looking embryos - BFP!
First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl! :)
  • Happy Friday! Imaginary drinks for me since I O'd yesterday. Hubby and I are in Hawaii for a little mini vacation so I'm hopeful that we have been having enough good times to get the job done. We fly home Sunday.

I would *love* a beer!  Just got back from a neighborhood festival and BBQ competition.  All the pork I could eat!  A beer would be perfect-- especially if I manage to get up to some yard work later!

(Really just drinking cold fizzy water)
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

    TGIF (a day late)

I'm not feeling well and taking a ton of antihistamines for allergies, so probably won't be drinking. I'm watching the hockey game (let's go Rangers!) and enjoying a nice quiet weekend.
