Yes, no fun. I had mine stripped with my daughter and promptly told my doctor that we were no longer friends. Lol I wanted to say much more believe me but I was trying to stay professional. It didnt help any with me.. I still needed a csection
YES! Did it with my daughter and delivered her the next day. It hurts like a mother effer, but well worth it. (In my opinion!) I cursed my midwife off, she laughed, and she said I bet you won't take an epidural because you handled that so well! I recommend it!
It did but I didn't think it was that bad. I had it done twice, the second time hurt a little more.

Oh. My. God! The first time i had this done i was not prepared for the pain at all! I nearly jumped off the table and squeezed my husbands hand so hard i almost broke his fingers! And it didnt work for me but turns out my body doesnt handle labor so we have had c/s babies.
Yes it hurts ...that pain was worse thsn my hours of labor. No one told me. My bff came in right after and I was crying so much she thought I had lost the baby.
I had my membranes stripped in my first pregnancy it didn't bother me at all, and my son was born 12 hours later - so I went around telling all my pregnant friends "ohh you have to do this, it will make your baby come out so fast" (many of my friends were pissed at this advice after they thought it would be just as easy for them! They said it was miserable and none of their babies came out as fast ) so with my second I thought hey hopefully it will work again, I was wrong... I had my membranes stripped three times with my second and still ended up being induced.
I've heard it's very painful & it doesn't even work a lot of the time, plus it can cause your baby to go into distress! But I also know one girl who had it done & she had her baby the next day, so it just depends really!
It was uncomfortable but not painful. I had some cramping after like she told me I would and my son was born the next day. I will definitely try it again this time when I get to that stage.

Wow, its crazy how everyone's experience is so unique but I'm still scared and rather not take the chance lol I think labor pains will be enough to deal with
I had mine done with both of my previous pregnancies. It didn't work for the first one, but when I had it done with baby #2, he came 2 days later (a week early). It didn't hurt that bad, but it was uncomfortable. I plan to have it done again this time around.
I had it done with my first and didn't think it was much worse than a pap. I don't think it did much tho just caused false labor @ 38 wks bad enough for an evening in the hospital, that was $1000 we didn't need to spend. They will come out when ready, I think most of the time it's coincidental...mine ended up being 3 days early
I had it done after my water broke to try and speed up the process. It was horrendous, the most painful part of my labor and delivery (I had an early and amazing epidural later on). It was fast and the pain was short lived but those moments were excruciating. The OB that did it was sweet and nice and heard some very bad things tumble out my mouth. She deserved it.
