Is this it?!?

Ugh! I thought last night was the night. I was having regular contractions 10 mins a part for an hour and a half... finally decided to go to bed and fell asleep. They subsided. I am 37 and 2 and have gestational diabetes so I get NSTs twice a week. Baby is happy and healthy and I have had contractions frequently (they catch them on the monitor and everything looks good). At 36 weeks I was 1 cm. I haven't had a bloody show or anything buy am having more uncomfortable contractions again today, and my back aches and I'm super nauseous (i keep gagging and dry heaving) and I am restless. I'm having a hard time concentrating on work. I know everyone says you'll know when it's time but...I don't know I just have a weird feeling. Any words of wisdom. I was induced at 37 weeks with my first so this is all new to me!!!

From my experience with my first, if you have to ask us, it isn't it. Call your doctor and see what he/she says. Could just be indigestion or a stomach virus.

Post in the daily symptoms thread and you will get more responses as pretty soon we are all going to be having 'is this it?' moments.

FTM but if you think it might be time, there's nothing wrong with calling the nurses and asking. At my hospital they say you should come in when the contractions are 50 seconds long and 5 minutes apart for an hour, but they also said that if you just have a feeling that it's time there's nothing wrong with coming in. Good luck! And @Cuij is right, you'll probably get more responses if you put future posts like this in the symptoms thread... I almost didn't open this because I thought it would be a mucus plug pic

I knew I was in labor when I couldn't talk. I was trying to figure out how to breathe.
