Hey ladies. I already posted in another board, but this one definitely seems appropriate to introduce myself into also. So here I am! Looking for a little bit of support on my TTC journey! I've done a little bit of lurking, although it's hard to get through tons of threads! I solemnly swear I'll continue, but I thought I'd introduce myself first! I have PCOS...All the classic symptoms other than being over weight. My DH and I have been TTC for a while now, with the help of Clomid and Metformin. My cycles are every other month, so my Clomid rounds are few and far between (at least it feels that way). Last AF was in December (out of town so no Clomid that month). AF was late in February, test in early March was negative. Then finally got my BFP at the end of March. I was 7w2d at my first sono (2d after my BFP). Um helloooo! I was shocked and obviously beyond ecstatic. I had been on a strict elimination diet, and I feel like I owe my pregnancy to this. I went to work at 9w4d, and had a gut feeling that something was wrong. I'm a cardiac critical care nurse, so we have a tech on our unit who does echocardiograms (sonograms of the heart) and I had her take a look (knowing she used to work in OB). Sure enough, we couldn't find a HB. The next day I was in my OBGYN office discussing options. We decided on a D&C (horrible experience) and had it that afternoon (April 16th). I lost a part of me I didn't even know existed that day. I have a 5 YO DS (conceived prior to any indication of PCOS), he is absolutely my heart, but the empty missing feeling I have now could never be filled. I don't know what I would do without the support of my DH, but being part of a group of ladies who have experienced this as well as others who are TTC would be amazing! Sooo that was really long.     I had a d&e on April 10th, so I'm right there with you. I wish you luck!

    BFP 2/19/15  •  MMC found at 9 wks  •  D&E at 11 wks (age 36)
    BFP 8/29/15      •  CP (age 37)
    BFP 11/18/15  •  DD born at 41 weeks <3(age 37/38)

    TTC#2 since May 2017
    BFP 10/18/17  •  MMC found at 8 wks  •  Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39)
    BFP 2/16/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 4/13/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks      •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
    9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
    RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.
    BFP 9/24/18  •      CP (age 40)
    BFP 5/11/19  •  Fraternal twins  •  MMC found at 10w5d (Baby A 6w, Baby B 10w)  •  Misoprostal at 11 weeks (age 41)

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  I had my D&C on April 3rd and am now waiting for AF, if it isn't waiting for one thing it is waiting for another.  I never knew I needed so much patience on this journey to motherhood.  good luck to you and I'm glad you introduced yourself.

    I know, @bntfroggie!!!  All the waiting is driving me crazy!  I've been waiting for one thing or another since the mmc 7 weeks ago!  When I get AF, I'm going to parade down the street throwing confetti in the air.

    So sorry for your loss! Totally agree on the waiting game. So many things to check and wait for results, one after another. Once the genetics tests come out I think I'll patiently wait for my AF. I'm so tired of recording numbers in my journal. It'll be nice to turn off the switch for a while!

    Thank you ladies! I will join in on your menstruation parade! I'll throw the fire baton! ;) ... Really though, the waiting is killing me. I'm probably going to tell everyone "I got AF today", and I'll just deal with the sideways glares. Haha! The wait has been a little better since the physical symptoms post D&C subsided, I finally feel like I can take a step forward.

    @kp008073 hoping my fatigue goes away soon too. it's been 2 weeks and people have been telling me whether Im ok. My face is often puffy and the bags under my eyes could reach the ground. Lol.

    Come on, period! Never wanted a period so badly!

    I had some complications with my D&C, nothing completely abnormal, but certainly not the norm. So my physical symptoms held on for about 3 weeks. At 2 weeks my beta was still 650, so I go in tomorrow for another level. And I soooo feel you. I don't think I've wanted a period this badly since I was a 16 year old idiot having unprotected sex. X_X

    Yeah! I remember those days too. Every minute felt like an hour till my period came, just like nowadays!

    @kp008073 good luck at your appointment. Isn't funny how long we prevented pregnancy when we were young and now it is all we want. I remember thinking when I had the positive pregnancy test after 2 months of trying man I'm glad I used condoms all those years ha.

    Thank you! And yesss, I conceived DS (amazing surprise, even though I was in college) the month I stopped taking BC. I was 20. Time changes so many things. I wish I could be that simple again. If I had known I would be dealing with infertility issues, I would have started TTC when my son was 3, even though I would have still been in nursing school.

    If we are being honest I told so many people when fertility friend said I ovulated ha ha. It was like Christmas for vaginas ha ha

    :)) I haven't even been on facebook since I've been on TB! It's so addictive. Intimidating, but addictive!

    Hey, I just had an idea. We should all wear white pants. Then we'd definitely get our periods!
