pregnancy or not??

I don't know if I am or not...I have took 4 pregnancy tests and all negative but I haven't had a period for 8 weeks...I am normally 1 week behind each month...has anyone else had this??? Could it be a faulse negative. ..I mean I have read 9 put of 15 get a faulse negative but has anyone here had that problem???

If the test was negative, you are not pregnant at this time. Please lurk. It is against the terms of this site to ask us if we think you are pregnant.

If the test is negative then you are not pregnant at this time. If you haven't gotten your period after this long then it is advisable to see your gynecologist. Have you recently been on birth control? 

Also it is against the TOU to ask if you are pregnant. We can't see into your uterus and therefore can't give you an answer.

Also if you go more than 60 days without a period and no BFP it is recommended to call your Dr. They can jump start your period.

Also. If you honestly think your pregnant after fou negative test. See a dr. Get a blood test. So they can also tell you your pregnant.

QFP.  Negative test means not pregnant.  You probably ovulated late.  It happens.

It's completely unnecessary to get a blood test when she's had negative HPT, they are pretty sensitive.  OP, if you go 60 days without a period then go to the doctor.

No, she doesn't need to go to the doctors. Her test is negative.

Please understand that when I was telling her to get a blood test. It was because if she honestly thinks she's pregnant that is the only way for her mind to be put at ease that it's negative.

9 out of 15 get a false negative ? I don't think so. Where did you get that statistic? Negative means not pregnant. If they turned a test positve after a negative, they ovulated later than they thought. Which means they were not pregnant at the time of the first test.
If the test is negative you are not pregnant. Sorry.

I get what you're saying, but it's a huge waste of time and resources.

OK I think I can understand considering a negative test taken too soon to be a "false negative" but if you have taken 4 tests and you are still getting negatives you probably just ovulated later or haven't ovulated yet at all and therefore are not actually "late" and are just having a long cycle. If it goes too long, you should be seeing a Dr. You aren't really getting "false negatives" you either have hcg in your system (pregnant) or you don't (not pregnant) testing too soon doesn't mean you won't get pregnant. It just means you aren't yet.

I am confused about the one week behind part.
do you mean that instead of a textbook 28 day cycle, that your cycle is 35 days? If that, that is still very normal. it just means you ovulate later that cycle day 14.
