A Little Help from my...Preseed? Mucinex?

Anyone have any thoughts, good or bad regarding the use of Preseed or Mucinex when TTC?
I've heard from a few friends about the benefits of Mucinex helping you create more CM, and the Preseed to help the little suckers along on their journey, but would love to hear some thoughts from the Bump community.

Were either of these ever recommended by your doctors? Or when mentioned to your doctor, what was their response?
I'm visiting my RE tomorrow and will bring it up to her then.

    My OB recommended it when she prescribed clomid as it can cause dryness. I bought it but didn't end up trying it.
    TTC #1 since August 2013
    Unexplained/ Endo
    Medicated IUIs # 1-3 BFN
    IVF #1- BFN
    FET #1- BFP; Ectopic pregnancy found at 7wks
    FET #2- February 2017 BFP  Beta #1- 119 (8dp5dt) Beta #2- 475 (12dp5dt)

    Pressed gave me bacterial vaginosis and it can do that as it changes the ph of your vagina. I don't think either are a cure for true infertility. They can help some though. Good luck!

    Sorry to hear that! I'm going to hold off on using it for sure.
    I would never assume that Preseed would be a cure for infertility, just looking for something to help the little guys find their way. I'm about to start my second cycle with Letrozole. Spoke with my RE today and when I asked about the Preseed for she told me that studies have shown that canola oil is actually the best lubricant as it can carry the sperm further.

    Thats awesome have you've  tried the canola oil? and does it feel if you have tried it? pretty curious.

    I wouldn't even cook with canola oil let alone use it as lube but I'm not a doctor so of course my opinion on that should be ill considered. Have you ever heard of conceive plus? It's like pressed but better. You should look into it. You can get it from amazon :)
