STM: Hemmorrhoids--how long after birth did they last for you?

OK, so I have a couple of really painful ones with about 3 weeks to go. I apparently had them with my first, but didn't seem to notice. How long after giving birth was it before they went away? just trying to prepare myself if they lasted a couple days a couple weeks or months later, as these are a huge pain in the ass...pun intended.

    My hemerrhoids went away shortly after birth. Most pregnancy issues do. Either way, they'll feel significantly better after the baby is born.

    Mine are still around at almost 1 year PP, but I run a lot which aggravates mine. Make sure you keep up with stool softeners after you give birth. That will keep you from straining which makes them worse.
