  • I guess I'll go first!

    Blueberry :)
(Weird I was just eating some and looking at them thinking that's the size of little beanie)

    39

    I have a 5yo DS & 2yo DD

All preggy symptoms raging now ...
Tried phenergan for MS ... Not for me! Knocked me out for an entire day!. Dr put in an rx for Diclegis ... We shall see. Sad that Zofran has been taken off the 'ok during pregnancy' list.

First OB appt next week & hopefully find out about when I can get the cell free DNA test.

For Mother's Day I already got a few adorable hand made gifts from the LOs ... Including one my DH did w/ them. And I think there's a 'secret' brewing for breakfast in bed tomorrow :)

    HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY EVERYONE!!

  • 1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby? 20 weeks. Due Sept 24th. Baby is the size of a small banana.

    2. Age at delivery? 37

    3. Any other children or fur babies? 2 girls age 3 and 5 years. 2 dogs.

    4. How are you feeling?  Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc? I have this weird pain in my side. Not sure if it's just an pregnancy related ache or something more serious. Keep meaning to go to the Dr, but it's such a hassle to get in.

    5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves? Baby is starting to kick more and more frequently, which I'm loving. Can't decide when to start maternity leave. I'm a teacher and am due the day before the last day of term. If I can make it to the end of term (I went 5 days late with both of my girls) I'll get paid for the school break. But if I go on leave earlier, well I'll be on leave with my feet up.

QOTW: Any plans for Mother's Day?  Did your kids do something really cool for you?  Any FTMs get a little gift from daddy-to-be?  Please share!
We didn't do anything amazing, but I got some cute things from the girls that they'd made at school/kindy, and DH took them out to see his Mum, so I got a large chunk of the day to do my own thing. Sadly I spent a lot of it vaccuming and grocery shopping, but it was a treat to do those things uninterrupted.

Last mother's day I was in hospital having just miscarried our baby, which was reasonably traumatic as I haemorrhaged  badly, and had to be rushed into surgery. So this mother's day, everything feels like a blessing.

  • Almost 37 wks. Technically due June 3rd but was two weeks early with DD and a week early with DS so we will see!

    37.

6 yr old DS. 2 yr old DD. One dog.

Feeling ok. Just uncomfortable. Sciatic pain is raging. Baby must have changed position because now it's mostly my right leg/hip and it was my left. Think I did too much yesterday because it's killing me so far this morning!

Next appt is Wednesday. I'll be exactly 37 wks on Wed.

I posted earlier about the spa day at my sons school. Lol. So he got to do my make up and put a mask on my face and paint my nails. It's a good thing we were just going home afterward. :). I got my hair done yesterday. Spent the rest of the day cleaning and doing laundry. Got the hospital bag packed. Got the car seat out of the box. Got the pack n play out and ready. Been laying in bed with the kids this morning and having BH contractions like crazy.

    1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby?
    37 weeks today. 5/31/15
    2. Age at delivery?
    37
    3. Any other children or fur babies?
One cat, who is mad at us (again)  since we just started shutting the door of the baby room (which used to be "her" room) at night.  She just loves to stand in front of that door at night and meow and cry.  I hope she gets over it before the baby comes.
    4. How are you feeling?  Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?
Ok, I guess.  Nothing new, just the same old aches and pains and ever-increasing stress as we get closer to EDD.
    5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?
Next weekly OB visit is tomorrow.  Will get results of Group B Strep culture - super-anxious about that, since I am seriously trying to avoid an IV during L&D.
QOTW: Any plans for Mother's Day?  Any FTMs get a little gift from daddy-to-be?  Please share!
Hmm... DH and I are planning to go shopping today for baby stuff and do some cleaning around the house.  I am not expecting any sort of git from DH.  I will consider his assistance with cleaning gift enough.

  • 1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby?
34 weeks, Butternut Squash, due June 18th

    2. Age at delivery?
    37

    3. Any other children or fur babies?
2 kitties. My old man cat has taken to hanging out in the upholstered rocker in the baby's room. Hope he doesn't mind when I need to use that chair down the road

    4. How are you feeling?  Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?
    Tired. So tired

    5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?
Next appointment this coming Friday. GBS test at that time. After that I start every week appointments

QOTW: Any plans for Mother's Day?  Did your kids do something really cool for you?  Any FTMs get a little gift from daddy-to-be?  Please share!
I'm home alone for the weekend, so my plans are to laze my day away on the couch. Reading, watching TV, or Xbox. I got Chinese food in the fridge for warming up later, I'm set. No gift from daddy to be, but he did send me a text this morning from the base telling me happy mothers day with a heart and flower emoji. He's a good guy. ❤ He'll be home tomorrow and I'll probably get dinner made for me

    1. 21 weeks, baby is the sign of a pomegranate according to this app, a cantaloupe according to my other app and I certainly agree with the cantaloupe size.:)

    2. 40

    3. DD - 4 yrs., 3 dogs

    4. I feel great. (Hooray for being able to brush teeth without puking.). I have had intermittent bleeding all through the second trimester which is nerve wracking and have physical restrictions, but physically enjoying his time.

    5. I am happy to not have an appt his week! Because of bleeding I already have to go every two weeks and will be followed by my OB and a Peri so some weeks have two appt which is getting old.

QOTW: DH bought me new dishes - maybe he thinks I will be inspired to cook more lol - and DD made some adorable fingerprint art. Best gift - DD cleaned her playroom without being asked and let me sleep in until 6 this morning.
  • 1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby?
    39w1d, May 15!!! Baby is baby-sized!

    2. Age at delivery?
    36

    3. Any other children or fur babies?
    No

    4. How are you feeling?  Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?
Feeling a bit more tired and my belly is very hard/tight very often. Not sure if that's just the baby running out of room or Braxton Hicks. Otherwise feeling pretty well, considering the...errr... largess of my bump.  Walking sometimes results in pain, so I've had to slow down quite a bit over the past few days.

I don't have any advice because from what I gather, everyone's experience is different.

    5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?
39 week appointment tomorrow morning; doubt I'll learn anything new, and I think I'll decline the cervical check because I'm not sure the result has any meaning!

QOTW: Any plans for Mother's Day?  Did your kids do something really cool for you?  Any FTMs get a little gift from daddy-to-be?  Please share!
It's a beautiful day here, so we went for a picnic in a nearby park, which was lovely as we avoided the crowds and could take our time. A friend of mine dropped off their old co-sleeper this morning, which my husband is now assembling and cleaning, and I've been doing some baby-related laundry. I'm also supposed to be doing some final revisions on my PhD but am a bit too tired for my brain to function the way I'd like it to. Overall, a laid back mother's day sunday!

  • 1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby?
31 weeks and one day, July 11, pineapple (yum!)

    2. Age at delivery?
    43 years young

    3. Any other children or fur babies?
    Three lazy cats
    4. How are you feeling?  Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?
Yesterday was tough.  No energy and lots of aches.  Today is better.   Been napping every day this weekend.

    5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?
Appointment on Thursday. Then they start every two weeks.
RANT: Drove by the house we're in the process of buying during yard saling yesterday morning.  Someone had spray painted the outside pink.  Probably some stupid kids as it was just a bunch of squiggles and no gang signs or anything else.  We called our realtor and he called the owner.  Got someone out right away and it looks like everything is back to normal.  Found out the fire department, which is across the street, called it in at 1 a.m.  and that made me happy.  Nice to know they are looking out.  Anyway, it was just a bit of a hassle, but we are still on for moving at the end of the month.
QOTW: Any plans for Mother's Day?  Did your kids do something really cool for you?  Any FTMs get a little gift from daddy-to-be?  Please share!  Fiance got me a new wallet and three different bottles of IPA beer which I will enjoy in a few months.  Other than that, just ordered take out and getting ready to catch up on Game of Thrones.

you?  Any FTMs get a little gift from daddy-to-be?  Please share! We went to the zoo the day before Mother's Day and it was fun but really exhausting! Got to sleep in on Mother's Day and DS and DH got me flowers and DH made me eggs benedict, my favorite breakfast, spent the afternoon at the park AND DS slept 11 hours straight no waking up, this almost never happens, what a gift!

Hi. I'm tentatively checking in. I had a FET on 4/28 and betas so far have been good (109 8dp5dt, then 252 10dp5dt and finally 801 13dp5dt). I'm now in the waiting period for my ultrasound which will be 5/26. It seems like forever away. I'm still kind of in denial that this worked and it'll probably take the US to make it sink in. Wish I could have the scan next week!

    1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby? 4w6d?

    2. Age at delivery? 45 3. Any other children or fur babies? DS 22 months. 1 cat.

    4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc? Slightly nauseated, thirsty and dizzy! Oh and super tired, but that's hardly new.

    1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby?
    June 1, 37 weeks
    2. Age at delivery?
    Almost 38
    3. Any other children or fur babies?
    Nope
    4. How are you feeling?  Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?
Cold is still lingering and starting to get annoying. As if I needed even less energy!
    5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?
Found out this week that I tested positive for StrepB.. which means I have to have an IV during labor, which totally stresses me out (I hate needles!), so I'm pretty bummed and mentally working through that.
QOTW: Any plans for Mother's Day?
DH was out of town and I had a super mellow day - went to church, had a nice swim, took a nap the called my mom.

  • 1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby?
34 weeks Not sure of baby size comparison.  This week has been so busy I haven't had a chance to read emails to see any size compares

    2. Age at delivery?
    42
    3. Any other children or fur babies?
    7 Children
    4. How are you feeling?  Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?
Not bad.  Acid stomach problems that result in extreme nausea and wicked vomitting.  Its unpredictable when it will happen and totally not related to what I have eaten etc. Had feet swelling during last weekend's heat wave.  It was hard to spend all day on my feet working around the house like that.
    5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?
Rant:  Had to cancel last weekend's Chicago trip because it was suppose to thunderstorm all weekend.  Decided to go camping instead.  Brand new vehicle came with tow package but something is wrong with the wiring hookup and trailer brake would not work so we could not go.  Talk about a house full of crying disappointed kids!

So I only had gained 15 lbs as of my 32 week appointment. At my 34 week appoinment yesterday I had gain another 7 lbs in two weeks!  I was totally freaked and surprized.  My dr said she could see my legs were retaining some fluid and that you can easily carry a gallon of fluid in each leg and that would be totally normal no cause for concern!  A gallon!  So she said that was where she thought the extra weight was and since my bp was great and my urine fine, the swelling was just related to our sudden heat.

Rave:  Finishing redoing the boys' room!  SO great to get some projects done.  It cooled off a few days and my legs look skinny again!

    QOTW:
Any plans for Mother's Day?  Did your kids do something really cool for
you?  Any FTMs get a little gift from daddy-to-be?  Please share!
My husband likes to state that being married to him makes it Mother's Day every day for me.  So he does not see why I would need any special treatment gifts etc.  (yeah insert eye roll here)!  Did nothing special.  Got nothing.
