I'm 10DPO in my first cycle following a d&e. I was assuming that once I ovulated, I'd know exactly how soon AF would come. But my bbt chart is going lower where it normally peaks, so I thought I'd look up if the luteal phase (which is normally constant) can be different after a miscarriage. I found out it can be shorter or longer, so now I'm back to having no idea when AF will come. Argh. Maybe it will skip the peak entirely and just drop from here. Wouldn't that be nice?
Anyone here run into this problem? And if so, was it very much longer? And did it return to normal on the next cycle? I know that won't answer what mine will do, but I'm curious. I'm hoping it doesn't usually vary by much.

Re: Luteal phase
I am not sure how true this is but I've heard anytime your body goes through a major hormonal change (miscarriage, childbirth, going off the Pill, etc) your cycles can be different than they were.
I'm such a planner, so it drives me nuts that there's no timeline for this. It's been 6 weeks since I found out I was going to miscarry and I'm tired of all the waiting.
