How much does your child remember?

Parker remembers EVERYTHING!  And, I mean, everything!  he will remember things that happened over a year ago and doesn't forget anything that you tell him or have told him!

Is this normal for his age.  I guess I just kind of assumed that they didn't remember a whole lot outside of a couple of days, but apparently I'm wrong!

I think dd remembers everything too. 

For example, a cousin of mine taught her how to pretend sneeze.  She hadn't seen her since July.  As soon as she saw her she pretended to sneeze.  We couldn't believe that she remembered to do it who taught her that.

DS1 remember ev.ry.thing. Except of course the things I want him to remember!

Everything and too much...I was the same way when I was younger - really until my 20s.  DS will hold or point to an object and name a person and it will either be someone that gave it to him, played with it with him or the person eats it (he points to our mustard and says Nanny!)  It causes issues too because he sees something that reminds him of my Mother and then he will cry for her.

DS has an amazing memory.  We can drive through a particular part of town which we don't frequent often and he'll know exactly where we are or where we're going.  He remembers places that we went to a year ago when I thought he was just a baby.  It's actually a little scary how much he recalls and can now talk about!

She doesn't forget anything!!!!!  If I tell her I will get her something in a minute and then get distracted doing something she always reminds me!  She remembers things from a year+ ago too.
