preemie milestones

My ds was born at 36 weeks and is now 3.5 months old. Do you guys feel like your preemie reaches milestones/leaps according to his actual age or adjusted age? I feel like he is hitting the 4 month regression but his adjusted age is only 2.5 months.

My kids were born at 34 and 36 weeks I don't consider my 36 weeker a preemie and never used an adjusted age with either of them they both met milestones within the typical timeframe.
