3. I've become pretty comfortable with temping, charting, OPKing with both Wondfos and digitals, so hopefully all of this data will position us well (pardon the pun) for success.

QOTW:  Omigaw - blast from the past and I'm pretty embarrassed to admit it... NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK with the lovely Tiffany opening. I rocked out like a boss with my Dad two rows back. I'd love to see Mellencamp and/or Meatloaf at some point!

The first concert I ever went to was Weezer in 2010 (I was 32).  I know that's really sad, but I grew up in a really strict family.  I would love to go see Weezer again.

OPKs, charting, temping, vitamins, CoQ10, baby aspirin

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? CD 29, 9 DPO. BFN this morning, I'll keep testing until AF or BFP.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc). This cycle has been weird. I thought I Oed around CD 13 because of some OPKs, but I got sick the week after and discarded temps because of a fever. FF changed O to CD 20 (and I got a + OPK on CD 19), which seems more reasonable given BFNs and no AF. And my thermometer is acting up, so I can't even get too excited about today's temp spike. Wheee!

QOTW: What was the first concert you ever attended? And follow-up, who would you really like to see (or see again) in concert today?
I saw John Denver with my parents when I was 10. I'm so cool. I'd love to see Old Crow Medicine Show again, they were great! Or The National or the Avett Brothers.

Hey ladies!!

I hope everyone is doing well this week!

5. I've been having a very strange cycle. My pre-O temps are usually all over the place (like the rocky mountains) but this cycle they've been low and steady, which might be a good thing (I still don't know how to post my chart)? I use the clearblue advanced digital OPKs and usually see my estrogen peak (the flashy smiley face) on CD13/14 with the LH surge on CD18-24. It's already CD21 and there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING - just a big fat blank every single day. I also do the Wondfu's as back-up and there's nothing there as well. I can't figure out if this is good (as in, my estrogen levels are settling down) or bad (as in, my body has just shut down completely this cycle). Last cycle was my first time taking progesterone (crinone - a vaginal suppository) and I really felt the effects of that, so maybe it's caused my body to take a break or something? In addition to this, my doc called yesterday with my result's from last week's pap and it looks like there's some bad bacteria/flora. She didn't seem too worried since I don't have any symptoms of an infection and she doesn't want to put my on antibiotics right now since there's a "chance" I could be pregnant (even though I told her I haven't ovulated yet). But now H and I are confused if we should put "trying" on hold until after AF or if this thing was minor and probably cleared up by now? Why does TTC have to be so overwhelming, confusing, frustrating and the ultimate test of a person's level of patience?!?!?!

My mom took me to see Whitney Houston when I was in the 4th grade and I loved it!  I listened to The Greatest Love of All a million times-- we had the record (I feel old).  I don't even know any "cool" music right now, but I wouldn't mind going to a Billy Joel concert-- I saw him once and it was a lot of fun knowing all the songs.

I would love to see New Kids on the Block, never did when I was younger, was a huge fan (lots of fans here too).

TTC #2, 6 medicated cycles so far.

On a break from meds due to 4 large cysts at my baseline ultrasound.  Continuing CoQ10, many vitamins, no alcohol, no diet coke, restricted carbs, lost 16 pounds so far.  

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?
10 DPO in the TWW.  I'll probably test on Sunday if my period doesn't show.  That'll be 14 DPO.  We'll see if I last that long.  I really would like to test on Friday.  

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
I have a tiniest sliver of hope.  How can I not?  Wouldn't that be crazy, after all the medicated cycles and IUIs to get pregnant on our own?  Unlikely, but we'll see.

We did meet with our RE this week and we have a plan.  We're going to do 1-2 more IUIs since as he put it, he feels we've finally hit on the right amount of medication.  He did say that age causes more variability in response to medications, so I hope we still respond well next month.  If the IUI(s) are unsuccessful, then I have to talk my hubby into IVF, I guess.  Fingers crossed it doesn't come to that.  My RE did agree that we could wait a day or two longer before trigger to see if the follicles being a little bigger would help.  We'll see.

QOTW: What was the first concert you ever attended? And follow-up, who would you really like to see (or see again) in concert today?  Geez, I think I saw the Gatlin Brothers with my parents when I was little, but the first concert I remember being all screechy at was also NKOTB.  I wouldn't mind seeing them again.  I saw Garth Brooks this year (bucket list item) and he was AMAZING so I'd definitely see him again too!

ttc #1 for a while

This cycle we are temping/charting. I have been increasing my protein and lowering carbs. We are between ivf cycles. 

CD19 and waiting to ovulate. This is very late for me, but my RE said sometimes your cycle after ivf can be a bit wonky. Hoping to ovulate soon so i can start to plan timing for next ivf cycle. 

Seems unlikely we will be able to do this on our own, but always got to have some hope. And it would be murphy's law that after investing in an ivf cycle it would happen naturally  @emsmama15 seems you are thinking along the same lines.  

My first concert was Huey Lewis and the News (Sports) with Mr. Mister opening. Still love that album  One of my favorite folk singer/songwriters is Greg Brown. I have seen him multiple times, but it has been a while so would love to get another show in. 

@GK2009 - i would love to see billy joel too though!

My first concert was an impromptu. James Taylor was playing in my town and since DH (then BF) is a fan we joined the crowd and enjoyed the concert.

Excited but nervous. This is my 5th cycle off BCP. My cycle lengths were 25, 23, 21, 25. I'm hoping last month is close to where my body will regulate.

New Kids on the Block! Right now I would love to see Styx. I'm definitely in a Styx phase.

2. TTC for the first time.  Just starting cycle 2.

3. Another medicated IUI.  Today is day one of the cycle (AF is her usual nasty self, but I'm actually having a good day), and I expect I'll be back on femara on Monday, with another trigger shot, IUI, and progesterone.  I'm charting/temping and will be using OPKs a couple times a day, trying to make sure I don't ovulate before the IUI (like I think I did last cycle).

4. Day 1!  Just sent the wife out to buy more tampons.  Going to indulge in whiskey and rare meat tonight (otherwise no longer drinking).

5. Feeling positive!  I could let all the worries take over, but that won't help things.  

My first concert?  It was a favor for a friend, on her birthday! Billy Ray Cyrus, at the height of Achey Breaky Heart.  At the end of the concert, we went up to the stage, and the drummer handed me a drumstick.  Women with big hair and long nails descended on me, clawing my arms until I gave up the stick.  Billy came by to distract us and break up the fight, so I reached up and touched him.  Possibly bled on him, based on the severity of the scratches.  I wasn't even into his music, but there it is.  

After my BFN a couple days ago, I bought tickets to see L7 in NYC in September.  If I do get pregnant this next cycle, I won't be too far along to handle the travel.  If I'm not pregnant in September, we may be re-evaluating things, and I'm totally going into the pit.
