allergy attack!

This whole weekend was bad. Today, I woke with a sore throat. Barely have a voice... my doctor told me I can take allergy medicine which helped but now my throat is still very itchy and sore... I keep having dry coughs too.... anyone else suffering from allergies or sore throat? any suggestions??

I am going through this also. Sprite, and oj has helped me. Also if you are having a hard time with food (I know I am) chicken broth, plan thost, and Chesse it's have helped also.

I was coughing so much last week my lungs felt like they were on fire every time I would take a breath. I've been taking benedryl at night and it's been helping. Honey is the best thing I know of for a dry scratchy throat.

Mine are starting up too! These tips are good but my worst symptom is an itchy nose and eyes. What are you taking for allergies? I normally take Allegra but it's on the "no" list from my doctor. I haven't found a good substitute yet.
