Advice for delivering twins?

First time mom, expecting identical twins any time within the next month and a half. I'm 31weeks, 4 days today. I'm getting a little nervous about labor and delivery/c-section. No idea how I'm going to deliver yet. It depends on how the babies are positioned as we get closer. Any advice from experienced twin moms?

My birth plan was this: Get the babies out safely.
I ended up with a c-section at 35 weeks. Either route can be scary, but you're going to be ok! Its the hardest and most amazing thing you will go through!

Would love to hear from more posters about their experience, especially those who chose to schedule a c section. I am a FTM too (twin boys!) and as much as I really really want to do a vaginal delivery I absolutely do not want to have to recover from a "double whammy"

I just wanted the twins out safely. I ended up delivering at 39 weeks vaginally and baby b was breech just to keep things dramatic. Glad my doc didn't do a cesarean because of baby b. I too didn't want to recover from both vag & cesarean.

I am currently 29w3 days pregnant with twin girls.  I had a vag delivery with DD 19 months ago.  My plan was to try for a vag delivery this time around.  currently Baby A is Breach and Baby B is transverse.  There is a chance they will flip, but for the moment I am scheduled for a c-section at 38 weeks.

Had scheduled c section for 38 weeks (no way did I want to have twins naturally) - made it to 37 weeks, water didn't break and I didn't feel contractions. Went in at 3pm for weekly ultrasound - they told me Baby B wasn't moving much, the Ob was on call that evening so we decided to do c section - had it done at 9pm. The spinal/epidural combo did HURT like hell but recovery was easy breezy for me, I recommend the abdominal binder right away (hospital provided me one).
    Me: 32, DH: 34.
Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.
    2 IUIs = BFN.
    1 IVF (Dec 2013) = BFN.
    FET, 2 frosties (June 13, 2014)

    14dp5dt-June 27 -BFP, beta 2061. 2nd beta >5000, 3rd beta >5000, 2 sacs 06/30.
Twin Girls - 02/11/15 - at 37 weeks (no NICU, home with me at 3 days).
