Progesterone supplements.

I am currently doing my 2 nd med cycle 100 mg clomid, ovidrel and iui on cd 14 hopefully. I feel like my progesterone is low. My periods are now 23-24 days apart. I'm pushing my RE to do a 20-21 day draw but I'll be too late this cycle. Can I just start supplementing progesterone with cream without any adverse side effects ?!?

Any advice is much appreciated.

    I wouldn't try to supplement with cream.   Chances are your RE will give you the supplements if you call and ask for them, there is no harm in taking progesterone even if you aren't low.   At my clinic everybody is automatically put on it.

    I don't think the cream works very well, but I also don't think it would be harmful as long as you know you ovulated for sure. If you think you have a luteal phase defect why not ask the RE for some progesterone?
