Don't know what to do

my daughter is swaddled during naps and night but I have noticed that when we are out and I need her to sleep in my arms she doesn't know how to relax her arms and will rub her face and then wake up. We were out all day yesterday and she barely napped because of this. Anyone have any suggestions for her to stop this habit? I feel like she will never learn to sleep unswaddled

    I think that Little by little you should release the swaddle.
    Hopefully it will work!

    Bring a swaddle blanket with you. My baby won't sleep unswaddled except for in the car or stroller. Doctor said he'll reject the swaddle when he stops needing it.
