I'm 12 dpo, I believe. Temps have been all crazy up and down, but above the coverline, so we'll see. Had two small pinkish cm around 8/9 dpo, so I got all exited thinking it was IB, which I know is sorta stupid.  Other than that very few symptoms. Trying to hold out to test until wed morning. I thought about testing this morning and then decided that I didn't want to start monday with a disappointment. It's all a little strange with trying to get a new job, but I can't put my life on hold, so just hoping everything works out.

  • Hi everyone! I'm 8 DPO. My temp dipped about half a degree today.  I'm trying not to analyze my post-o temps, but it HAS been consistently higher than my cover line since I O'd ... on day 28!! :(  Go figure my ovaries decide to take a vacation on my break cycle.  Oh well.  It's been nice to have a longer break.  And I've now lost 15 pounds!! I'm back to the weight I was when I got pregnant last time.  That makes me feel pretty good.

I put this on the Manic Monday post, but it's so hard not to feel hopeful even though I know there's such a teeny chance I could get pregnant on my own with no ovarian stimulation.  Today, I'm determined not to test, but I'm sure I will cave later this week.  I'll probably test on Friday if AF isn't here by then (12 DPO).

Good luck @Dwmmwd!  Thanks for posting!

I thought I was 14 DPO but I've had a string of BFNs and no AF. I discarded the temps immediately after my first possible O (I was sick and running a fever), and now the new chart, combined with my second positive OPK, has me at 7 DPO.

In other words, I don't know what the hell is going on. ;). On one hand, I thought we had great timing for the first O date (-3, -2, -1), but I suppose it doesn't matter if you never O. For the second O date, we had -2 and -3, so not terrible but not great. We'll see how it goes.

I'm testing every day right now until AF or a BFP. No real symptoms, except terrible constipation yesterday and a backache today. Otherwise, I feel totally normal.

I'm 11 DPO, and I've already gotten a tentative negative with an early results test.  I'm planning to hold out and test on Thursday, to see if it's going to turn out to be a BFN.

I'm taking progesterone, so any symptoms can easily be attributed to that (bloating, cranky, emotional).  The only weird symptom-- my boobs aren't exactly sore, but the scars from my breast reduction (about 3 years ago) are itching like MAD!  Does that count for anything?

I've also had some nasty headaches, but I expect that has more to do with reducing my coffee than anything else.  So... I'm cranky, headachey, and trying not to scratch my under-boob scars in public.  Oh, and my skin has broken out like mad, just in case I wasn't already feeling messy enough.

Just venting, not really complaining.  Even though I suspect I'll be trying this all over again in a few weeks, I'm feeling positive.  (Until I saw that darn Wells Fargo commercial about adoptive moms learning sign language to communicate with their new daughter-- stay away from sappy internet videos!!!)
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

  • @KLake42, you paint such a pretty picture of the TWW.  I had to comment because I laughed out loud.  I have two giant pimples - one on my upper lip and one in the crease of my nose.  I feel like a teenager.  Hormones suck!!!

  • I'm 1dpiui so not much going on yet. We did one Saturday but I hadnt O'd yet with just 15 m sperm, then Sunday I had O'd but count was only 2 m. so overall I'm trying to be as positive as I can but really not expecting much. Starting progesterone Wednesday just in case!

I'm out. AF here right on schedule. I give up. I just don't get how this ever works. But honestly, it's probably better, bc I'm hoping to get a new job in the next few weeks (fx that i have more luck on that front) so it wouldn't be so great to tell them I'm pregnant about 1 month after starting.
And next month I won't even be here during my fertile week, so I'm going to just take the month off from everything. No temping, no acupuncture, no herbs then maybe June I'll be ready to try again. I'll still try to do the TWW posts. i think I just need a break from it all.

    fx for all you ladies.

  • I'm sorry @Dwmmwd.  I feel like the last month off has been so good for my mental health.  I hope you can get the same positive feelings from your break.  Do you want me to take over the TWW posts during your break?  If so, just let me know when I need to post it - Monday?  Good luck!

BFN here.  I'm not surprised-- I really feel like I ovulated the day before my IUI.  I guess I'll take that knowledge and apply it to the timing for this next cycle.

I was kind of down about it for a minute (chalk up one sleepless anxiety-night), but I think I have some perspective.  This was my first try, and I always knew that this wasn't meant to be easy.

Now, I'm just glad that I get a few days of not taking any fertility meds.  And also, I gave up alcohol (to work on growing good eggs), but I'm going to allow myself to drink a little the first night of AF, so I'm excited about that.  Will I have a glass of wine?  Or should I go get some really good bourbon?  Or one of those fancy craft cocktails at the bar up the street?  Or go all out, with sushi and good sake?

I am, fortunately, easily distracted by shiny things.  And food.

  • @KLake42 Ivote for the good bourbon.
    Mmmmm whiskey.
My period is on the way I think so I will be joining you. I will be sipping some Jameson or maybe a lychee martini.
