Tmi but idk what to do..

So im 34 weeks pregnant, and i got 2 hemorrhoids. Ive been trying everything to get them to go away. Mostly laying down, drinking a lot of water and using tucks pads to clean myself. I was taking 3 baths a day but i stopped its too hard to get out of the tub. My doctor prescribed be Proctozone cream to help with the pain, swelling, burning and itching. It doesnt burn going on and feels better right after applied but all day i noticed after wach new application im bleeding. They're external, and bleeding for no reason. I dont know if thats from the cream, but everything i looked up says nothing about proctozone causing bleeding. My sister said they pop, and bleed sometimes. She had em with her son and daughter. Im just worried thats all :(

  • I called my nurse on call line its 3 am here lol and they got me the doctor on call. I have to schedule with the colorectal doctor. I was afraid it was a reaction to the cream my doctor gave me, but it makes the pain go away and it doesnt hurt. So idunnnooo. Hopefully its nothing serious.
  • Is it a bunch of blood or spotting when you irritate it? Bleeding is common .

I love threads that start with "TMI". In all seriousness I do hope they feel better though!

My sister swore by witch hazel. The ingredients of Tucks has witch hazel, but maybe try it straight. But a doctor visit sounds like a good idea!

And don't forget to ice them! It's hard to do but you can figure it out. Ice helps them shrink.

Best thing for hemeroids that I've found is a bath with Epsom salt. Works better than any other remedy including the creams or wipes. Do it daily or twice a day of possible and it should help a lot in just a few days. Learned this tip from a really good gastroenterologist actually!
  • After my Dd was born, the hospital nurses gave me a amazing lidocaine spray, blue and white can you can find in the same isle as the witch hazel and the hemorrhoid creams. The thing that helped me find the most relief was the "hemorrhoid cocktail" the nurses showed me how to do, put the witch hazel tucks in the fridge to cool them, add cream to tucks, and then spray your area with the lidocaine spray.. liners and pads are needed for this process and sleeping on it helped me find the most relief. But all meds needed to be used together. The cooling helped, the witch hazel tucks and cream helped shrink the tissue, and the spray helped numb it until some relief was found from the rest of it.
Hope this gives a little help. They suck, and it will get better after baby comes.
