First IUI

I had my first IUI this morning.  I did the ovidrel trigger shot Monday night.  Right after it was done I was fine.  But then on the way home ( it was a 2 hour drive) I had some painful cramping.  I called the RE and they said it was normal.  It has let up since I got home but I still have some cramping.  They just told me to rest

Did anyone else have this problem with their IUI?

I'm a first grade teacher and I'm wondering if I should take tomorrow off too or if tomorrow I will be fine.  Any insights would be helpful

It is normal - an IUI is a semi-invasive procedure even. 

I'd take it off if I were you - better safe than sorry!

It's definitely normal. After my first iui I felt nothing. But after my second a week ago I was having pretty strong cramps that day and a little the next day also.

I had very minor cramping after my first iui. The 2nd one I didn't. I am about to do our 3rd in a few days. I would think tomorrow you would be fine and if not call the dr. Good luck!
