[Retsub]

Do you mind sharing your experience with Primrose since you mentioned your youngest attends? What exactly do you love about it and is there anything that maybe you don't. I have a friend that worked at one of their locations and she said nothing but good things but I'd really like to hear from someone with firsthand experience.

Thanks again!

Re: [Retsub]

  • I love that they have a set curriculum even at the infant age.  They aren't just put in swings and left there for the day. There is not even a swing in his classroom.   They a man that comes once a week and sings to the infants.  And as they get older they teach them sign language.

I think if you went with Primrose you would really like it, especially when your little one got older.  They learn so much.  I am really sad that my oldest isn't there.  She is the reason I chose Primrose, but I am being laid off at the end of the month and just could not see pulling her out of MDO for a few months.  When she turns two she can go there part time.  And you bet she'll be there.

Page IMFUN.  Her son attends a Primrose in Fort Worth.  It is because of her I wanted my kids in Primrose so bad!

  • waving HI!  :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE PRIMROSE!  Joey has been in Primrose for six month's and they are just so good with him.  He is learning SO  much... he does art, (I get Loads of stuff for my fridge), he does music appreciation, circle time, outdoor playtime, breakfast lunch and snacks.

He is learning sign language and it's amazing!  He can sign

red, black, more, please, monkey, bird, duck, no, (didn't need that one!) and so much more!  I know that he is signing other things too but I just don't know what they are.  :-D

oh yeah and he can sign Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  :)

He knows how to sit at a table and eat with utensils.  He knows his colors and can sit on the corresponding carpet.

it's amazing.  I have nothing but good things to say about them.  :)
    good luck!

  • Thank you two so much for the replies. Primrose was my first option unless I just got really lucky and found a great nanny, so I feel much better reading your reviews. I've been feeling nervous about sending her to daycare so you've calmed my fears a bit. Thanks!
