So yesterday evening I got a positive OPK and had a lot of EWCM....and my husband came home exhausted from work and fell asleep. I'm soooo frustrated End rant.
I am frustrated that I rushed home from work to pee on a stick, got my first positive OPK, and my attempt to have sex with husband ended with him snoring on the couch still in his work clothes...before the sun even freaking set!
It happens. I know it's frustrating, but if your husband was super tired, he may not have been able to perform anyways. Did you have sex within the few days leading up to your ovulation day? If so, you should be fine.

Yes, we gave had sex in the days prior. I just wanted to complain to you all to keep from complaining to him. Sorry, its just a frustrating morning!! How can I move this thread? I'm on mobile, if you can give me instructions I would appreciate it.

You can't, but it's No big deal! Just next time, keep posts like this to the WTO/ TWW threads. Turn it into something fun and it'll be good.
My Tuesday rant: when I was only half awake this morning I got excited because I thought it was Saturday and I could go back to sleep and sleep in. And then my alarm went off and I remembered it was only Tuesday. Womp womp.
My Tuesday rant: I am proctoring what will hopefully be the last round of standardized testing at my school today. This ENTIRE month there has been at least one test each week, throwing the entire schedule into chaos. When I became an art teacher I had no idea how many standardized tests I would be in charge of administering... *sigh* another day which could have been spent on actual school courses is now lost to standardized testing.
My dh injured his back at work yesterday... He works at a mental hospital and has to do restraints on violent patients. This one patient ripped my dh's pants from ankle to mid thigh :-/ . At some point he messed his back up and now is going to see a doctor. I try not to worry about him, but seeing him in pain makes me feel so helpless.

I'm currently proctoring make-ups right now
Our high school kids start their testing in two weeks and by the time that testing window is over it's time for finals. I have the worst teacher-itis right now ugh
I will also complain about testing. As a therapist, it throws too many of my kids off. So many calls from schools about kids acting up, all because of the schedule changes.

That is definitely a rough job. I hope he feels better soon!!
Ok, I need another rant. I cannot handle the stupid of one of my coworkers today. She's been here almost a year and still asks questions like she's a total newb. Today she asked me a question about how to do something that shouldn't have even been a question, but I still answered. She was not satisfied with my answer, so she went and bugged our supervisor, who gave her the exact same answer. Is it 5:00 yet? X(

I noticed this at the place where I volunteer, too. Testing is rough on kids.
@alex27 That sucks! We had two anniversaries so far, and I never got anything.
@nlwz123 i'm so glad these are not a thing where I live. Is there a polite way out?
I have a headache and I'm puking. At only CD6! Totes triplets. Drowning in self-pity here.
@Rabbitheart15, lucky you! Unfortunately, no. It's my husband's best friend's wife that is pregnant. They know we are struggling to conceive so it's a little awkward, but I've been trying to be happy for them despite my envy.
Tuesday rant: Invited to a gender reveal party this Saturday. I blame pinterest for this becoming a thing.
BLEGH.
Oh, these are so obnoxious. One of my college friends posted about hers on FB the other day. She had two parties. TWO. And it's their second child.
Wait...how do you even have a second party after it's already been revealed what the sex of the baby is? Doesn't that defeat the "purpose?"
I think they were on the same day. She posted pictures of two different cakes, and everyone was like "OMG are you having twins???" And then she explained that she was having two different parties. Tacky tacky tacky.

I am on a call with my client. We need to discuss ten items, we are 28 minutes into an hour long call, and we haven't even made it through the first item.

This just made me so ragey for you that I just went on my FB and posted an article about the bullshittery that is "gender reveal" parties, and in the caption quoted how it was actually a sex reveal. I foresee some of my friends (who recently had "gender reveal" parties) defriending me... oh well.
Ditto, I could rant about testing endlessly. My job title is middle school Language Arts teacher, but my real job title for the last month-ish is State and District Assessments Proctor.
So many educational opportunities down the drain due to testing. grr.

I get if you want to celebrate. But it shouldn't be a gift giving party AND it's sex, not gender.
The "gender" thing sets me off.
If I was invited to a Sex Reveal Party instead of a Gender Party I'd be stoked ... any party with sex in the name ... but until that happens, no Gender Reveal Parties for me. I hate them with a burning passion.
True story:
I have a friend who used to live closeby and then moved to BFE, Idaho, for her husband's job.
Child #1 - She wanted a sex reveal party but all of her friends were up this way. So, she had a friend of ours locally make a cake, invited everyone to get together (mind you, she wouldn't even be at this party because she's in IDAHO) and then Skyped in as one of the guests at the party cut the cake to find out what her kid's sex would be ... and the kicker is that SHE ALREADY KNEW, she just wanted US to be surprised so she could watch.
Child #2 - Still in BFE ... decides to have ANOTHER sex reveal and does pretty much the same thing except this time she also had a cake on the other side of Skype and cut into it at the same time friends over here did so she should be surprised with us. I guess she learned the first time that already knowing the surprise just made the entire thing completely ridiculous and self-centered ... but didn't learn that sex reveal parties in general are bogus and lame.

That would be a tough job. Hopefully your DH gets better quickly.

I will admit I had always thought male and female were a person's gender.
Thank you for helping me learn!
