Glam Glow Super Mud While Pregnant

Ok I am a product junkie. I worked at Sephora through college and my cult product is Glam Glow Super Mud face mask and I keep getting mixed responses about whether or not it's safe during pregnancy. Anyone know?? Because my skin looks like a 13 year old girl during her first period.

  • I've used Betonite clay & wouldn't think twice about it. Isn't that the main ingredient in the Glamglow? I'd love to try it, but the price is crazy!

  • the price is very high. But honestly. Worth EVERY CENT! But yes that is the main ingredient, the people at Sephora today seemed unsure and the Glam Glow website is half and half with if its safe or not.
  • I loove glamglow. But unfortunately it's not recommended because it has salicylic acid. I have been using Boscia cleanser (I get it at sephora) and aveda tea tree oil at night. I still have some break outs but it definitely helps. I usually use a prescription for my acne (lucky me) but I'm not able to use that while I'm pregnant! What I'm doing now with the cleanser and oil is working pretty good for my awful skin!

I literally just bought the Boscia cleanser at Sephora 10 minutes ago. I'm excited to try it. I also bought the oil free moisturizer "Take A Deep Breath" from Philosophy. I actually believe I have the Aveda tea tree oil in my products! Will have to give it a try. And will keep my glam glow away... Tear :(

Boscia also makes an exfoliating peel/scrub...it's awesome!
