is this how iui timing works!

Hi everyone!

So today at 2 pm, I got a positive opk. I attempted to call my RE, buy they must not have someone there on Sundays, so I left a message and hope I get a call back first thing tomorrow. If not, I'll call right back!

I was originally scheduled to have an ultrasound on Tuesday, followed by a trigger shot and iui, but I'm hoping they will see me tomorrow. If I can get the iui early tomorrow, that would be in the window, at least as I understand. Am I correct? I would just hate to have been using the Femara this cycle and have it go to waste

I haven't started yet the process yet but my instructions were to call on the day of my +OPK and then they would schedule the IUI for the following day.

I don't know anything about the timing of trigger shots, though, because we will just be doing Femara for me + IUI. Sorry.

I am doing iui with tamoxifen. My re has me coming in on day 10 to see how many follicles and to measure how big they are. they also do a blood test to check LH levels. once follicles are around 18 mm they have me do trigger that night and iui next day. I haven't had to use the ovulation tests since they do everything through ultrasound and blood test.

Just got back from the iui. I was glad they were able to do it! DH's count was a little low, 8 million, but we also hadn't abstained for 2 days (wwe had been counting 2 days from tomorrow, not today). So we will see! I found out that they will do 4 tries with iui. I don't know what happens if they all fail, I'll worry about that if it looks like we will go that far!
