i swear to goodness I'm going to go crazy if my brothers cat doesn't stop following me EVERYWHERE I'm going to go crazy...I can't even pee in peace without this cat driving me crazy....my brother said he cried and watches out the window the whole time I was at work he waited..and waited...and waited until I got home...Anybody else have an extremely clingy pet???

The only time my cat wants anything to do with me is in the middle of the night. She's all over me. My head, my stomach, my feet, and between my legs. At first when she was sleeping in my stomach I thought it was cute, now anytime I move she just readjusts and doesn't move her butt, making me uncomfortable all night. I'm too nice to just push her off the bed. My hubby says she just knows all the attention will soon be taken away from her so just let her have it. Ugh.

Ours has been all over me too! I believe it has something to do with the hormone changes. I think they can sense it.

Cats always know when you're pregnant. My cat has always been mean to me but when I got pregnant she won't leave me alone. She sits with me in my chair, lays with me in bed, and sleeps with me all night. She nuzzles and purrs and likes sitting on my stomach. Sometimes it gets annoying but I just find it so cute.

Last time I was pregnant (ended in a loss) our cat was so mean to me. I would get near her and she would hiss, and that is not normal for her at all. This pregnancy she has been super needy and won't leave me alone. She's constantly meowing at me and always wants me to hold her. If I'm outside she sits at the window and meows with her little paws on it. If I'm in the bathroom she scratches at the door and cries. She actually figured out a way to bang open the door. And she'll even try to get in the shower with me!!! It does get really irritating, especially when I'm dealing with nausea and just want to be left alone!

My cat has been whining non-stop and sometimes won't let me sleep at night or take naps without whining the whole time. Last night he finally cuddled up and slept with me instead of trying to get me out of bed. Thank goodness. Glad to know other's are having similar problems and it isn't just my cat.

Cats definitely know. Mine lies inches from my face during the night and licks my arm. Cute but gross!

our cat that has since passed away was like that with DD, he would not leave me alone and would always sleep next to my stomach and he loved DD so much!

My cat has always been a bit crazy over me but has been especially clingy since I've been pregnant. This is crazy but I think he knew before I did, started laying on my belly around week 5...

My cat Alice died in October and was hoping she would be with me for my first which makes me sad when I think about how this is a big first for me and I'm not able to share it with my best friend...I owned her everyday of her life for 15 years...her mom was my first cat and my brothers cat is who is driving me nuts...my chihuahua won't leave me alone either... He rests his head on my stomach like he's trying to hear the baby lol

My dogs (that act like cats that think they're dogs - petception over here) are driving me up a wall. Two 25 pound cuddling space heaters for most of the day and all night.

Yes. I swear, since I've been pregnant he has started a new habit, EVERY time I sit down, he is on my lap instantly , every time, without fail. He never was a lap cat before ! He's 17, I never thought he would change. I guess he knows I'm pregnant

My cat has been super needy! She did this with my first pregnancy too! She won't even let me go downstairs to fix food! She howls and harasses me until I come back up to her domain

My cats will not leave me alone either. It's really Annoying when I'm trying to clean house or something. I'm constantly tripping on them.
