Pesticide exposure

Hi ladies. I am new to the board. I am 5 months pregnant and wondering if I should be worried about this or am I being overly paranoid? Yesterday at my school, I was in the copier room and saw termites on the floor. I went to report it and they sent someone down to look but it sounded like they couldn't find them so I went down to show them. I opened up the door and they were spraying some pesticide on the floor. I smelled it right away so did not even go inside but asked from the door if they had found them and then quickly left. I am a worry wart and wondering if I am being paranoid? I am also worried about even picking up my copies on Monday. Thank you for any help you can give!

If they were in there doing the application, you're likely fine. If you didn't walk through and inhale a mist, or get the liquid on your skin, I wouldn't worry (have someone else grab your copies of you like).
Usually those applications will only be made to the lower couple inches of the wall and at the baseboard, places a person wouldn't usually be touching with skin.
It would be nice for them to post notice in the future, though.
