cassiel?

Anybody heard of the name Cassiel? seems to have been the name of an archangel but I can't find any info on it being a legit name for a human. Thoughts?

Actually @wassuphoes Cassiel is the Hebrew name for the archangel.

"He is the angel of solitude and tears, and is said to preside over the deaths of kings." I would be upset if that's where my parents got the name. That's depressing.

    Ah. My bad.

Still stand by my suggestion of Cassius though.
  • I know an Irish girl named Cashel (Ca-shell) same?

That would be upsetting...unless they want to be Goth, in which case...best name.  That's the only instance I can think the kid would like the name.  Sorry.
