TTC after DNC and methotrexate injection for an ectopic pregnancy

Back in January I found out I was pregnant, but my HCG levels were not rising fast enough. The doctors had determined I had an ectopic pregnancy. They did a DNC and gave me a methotrexate injection to terminate the pregnancy. My 2 periods since the injection have been rather inconsistent...one lasted 3 days and net next one lasted 4 days. Is this normal? When is it safe to try to get pregnant again?

    Hello, I am very sorry for your loss.   It is definitely normal to have irregular cycles after the methotrexate shot.   I had to wait for 3 'normal' periods after taking it to begin TTC, but I would definitely ask the doctor for clearance before taking that step.   HUGS and good luck!
